An exceptional and rare cameo glass bride basket on quadruple silver plate stand. The rose colored cameo is striking and as fresh today as it was c. 1880 when it was first created. The glass was produced by Mt Washington while the silverplate was produced by Pairpoint and is so marked. The basket handle uses a branch and leaf motif with the latter being applied over the former. The basket well is reticulated, the base having swirls and leaves, all standing on 4 feet...

Influenced by the Chinese Transitional porcelain this dish shows in the center a bridge with a farmer and two cows. On the back a single spur mark. Condition: fine, little wear, foot rim with a small loss (production flaw). Dimension: diameter: 21.3 cm, weight: 396 g. Without wooden stand.
A well carved yellow ground jar, with cover, depicting two confronting dragons amongst clouds and flames above breaking waves. The base carries the seal mark - Wang Bing Rong - and was probably made, circa 1910-1920, during the early Republic period. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration...

Interesting figure of a kneeling man with black African features. The naked man leans forward a little and looks thoughtful. He shows a furrowed brow, receding hairline and puffed up hair.
Nice anatomic detail of the upper body. Right arm missing, a garment covers the partially preserved left.

19th century Japanese kozuka (sword knife) handle with multimetal inlays depicting a Shinto ritual ladle containing various flowers, its bamboo handle decorated with a tied ribbon. Superb crisp work - see the fine textures of different flowers and nodules of the handle, silver and bronze inlays, gilding, finely textured ground called nanako, which means “fish-eggs” as it resembles fine rows of caviar, in great condition. A very rare sample of Ming dynasty Imperial Chenghua mark and period blue and white palace bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of fine flower motif at exterior, base with six character "Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi" reign mark with double ring and of the period.
Bowl is broken into several pieces as its found and re-attach, still a very good sample for Imperial Chenghua piece.
