Antique Islamic Javanese Indonesian Islamic short sword—dagger, Kris, Keris with an old 17th–18th-century well-made serpentine-shaped blade and 19th-century mountings.

The blade with 9 luk (waves) is hand-forged with a beautiful pamor pattern. It is mounted in 19th-century fittings, including a hilt (hulu) made of trembalo wood in the Yogyakarta style with typical carvings.

Miniature shrine with inside the sitting figure of Dainichi Nyorai. He sits on a lotus base, in front of an open-worked halo. Written on top, probably in red lacquer, underneath a thick layer of soot: Dainichi. Height 2 ¾ in. (6.8 cm). Japan, Edo period, 19th century. Outside: some tiny lacquer chips at edges of one door. Inside: some of the outer lotus petals missing, otherwise very good condition. Very finely carved.

19th Century Chinese Export Vietnamese Market Bleu & White Porcelain Plate with Calligraphy Marked

It is 0.98 inch (2.5 cm) tall by 4.9 inches (12.5 cm) wide. It is 118 gram.

A Hizen-yaki, Arita kilns dish in the Kakiemon style. Probably after design examples from the latter kiln. The cavetto with delicate shironuki decoration of sakura blossoms on waves of water. The center undecorated save a single chrysanthemum blossom. Brown rim induced by iron oxide. The exterior with karakusa around the unglazed ring foot centering a spurious mark suggesting the Chinese Ming dynasty. Early 19th century. Good condition. Diameter about 7 3/4 and a little more in places.

19th Century Japanese Lacquered Wood Buddha Zushi Travel Shrine Box

It is 1.2 inches (3 cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7 cm) wide. It is 54.9 gram.

It has rubbing and peeling of paint and lacquer, wrinkle lacquer, chips to the lacquer at the rim, a small chip at the rim, stains, traces of glue at the bottom of the box, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).
