19th century marine netsuke of Shoki the Demon Queller with a drawn sword, and two oni by his feet - one cowering under a woven straw hat, and the other terrified one thrown on its back. Excellent carving of Shoki’s ferocious face with a touch of madness, his spastically clenched hand and dynamic lines of his robe, Expert dark staining, very beautiful wear and patina. Rare antique Japanese 2-Section Mizuya (kitchen tansu) made from Keyaki wood (elm). The top section contains 2 roomy e compartments behind sliding door panels with floral motif pulls and 3 drawers along the bottom. The lowermost section holds another compartment with sliding doors, 3 small and two larger drawers along the bottom. The sides of the piece are reinforced with horizontal panels.

Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Horse (AD 618 - 906)
This very attractive pottery model of a horse was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in a reddish-brown pigment with black and white pigments to highlight the head, mane and tail. This horse is well-modelled and stands straight, alert, looking ahead.

Rare Ming dynasty longquan celadon large lantern vase, rounded side with barrel shape and unglazed foot ring, celadon vase decorated with carved chrysanthemum flower motif, vertical ribbing on the neck and lower part, flower and cross motif at the belly, covered with nice green tone celadon glaze.
Vase is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
