An incredible Chinese Cizhou ware vase of a meiping form, the elongated oval body decorated in carved floral patterns in a cream crackle glaze, the short trumpet spout flanked by four cascading handles, the foot remains bare without glaze and slightly recessed. 17" black sock doll with shoe button eyes, flat black button nose and applied soft red floss mouth. She is stuffed firmly with rags. She has on a while slip, white pantaloons and a gray blouse with red trim. The clothes are old but not original. She bends so she sits nicely. She has a cute expression that says, no fooling around here I have lots to think about. Circa 1900-1920

A fine pair of large fan shaped sweetmeat dishes decorated with a design of vase or censer flanked by a pair of square suiban on a veranda containing arrangements of Cherry, Camelia, Chrysanthemums and Pinkes.
The dishes are strikingly similar in form and decoration to some examples in the Dresden collection with inventory marks indicating that they were acquired before 1721. See Reichel “Altjapanisches Porzellan” illustration no 60 “Konfektschalen”, and the notes thereto at page 151...
18C Chinese Export Famille Rose Floral Goose Porcelain Plate
Plate is decorated with a landscape scene of peony flowers and a couple of geese, the border with four single peony flowers, the reverse with four flower patterns.

Edo Period Musha-ningyo of Minister Takenouchi no Sukune and Attendant. Superb
large-scale Edo period example (circa 1800) of Musha-ningyo warrior dolls for
the Boy's Day display. Takenouchi is depicted kneeling and holding the baby Ojin in his arms. He has an unusually animated and well-rendered
face, with fine gofun lacquer and painted features. Both figures have rich silk brocades in near mint
condition. Height: 15 inches, 38 cm.
A Chinese Bronze Censer, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 7.1 cm (across handles) and height approximately 8.8 cm (bottom to rim). Good condition.
Mid Edo period Hagi Chawan in the stylish shape of modest slight distortion. It is roughly coated in slightly glossy white slip and bears beside a wari-kodai (splitted foot) a fantastic 'landscape' on the inside.
But the highlight is the old gold restoration, a fantastic gintsugi (kintsugi) which makes our Hagi tea bowl so valuable and outstanding.
The chawan comes together with a good wood box and a blue shifuku for a perfect protection...
Song lonquan celadon small dish decorated with twin fish. Cracled glazed. 13,2cm diameter. 4cm high. Good conditions.
A finely blue & white dish with Phoenix ana bird on the center, and decorated with Emblems and continuous floral spray on the interior and exterior. PERIOD : Late Ming (1573-1619 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 19.5 cm CONDITION: very good, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.
Antique Chinese bronze incense burner with two compartments and standing on 3 small claw feet. Lotus flower petals blooms outward like eaves on a lantern. The body is incised with scrolling vines and leaves and the lid is pierced with a cloud pattern. A finial handle is in the form of a lotus bud.

The Hiramaki-e technique, which dates from the latter part of the Heian Period (794-1185), was preceded by Togidashi maki-e, a technique in which not only the design, but the whole surface is covered with clear lacquer after the sprinkling of metal powder. The lacquer is then polished down to reveal the design.
The Japanese letter box is decorated in low relief of mountainous terrain and a stylized linear mist or cloud line...
A good quality Antique, 19th century, Meiji Period, Japanese Kutani porcelain plate - dish, with a thick and heavy body, extremely well potted, and beautifully hand painted and enameled with peonies and birds.
Please note that this type of Kutani porcelain with a thick body was made generally for the domestic Japanese market.

An elegant Serving fork by Gorham in sterling Silver with a Multicolored Enameled Handle. Circa 1880-1890. Length, 9: weight 4 ounces. Excellent condition.
Early 19th century boxwood netsuke of a crouching puppy about to pounce. Strong early piece with unusual posture, excellently captured facial expression and chunkiness of a young pup, wonderful hairwork. Eyes are inlaid with black horn, old stable age line along its back, superb wear and patina. Excellent strong netsuke. Length 1 1/4 inches.

Antique Burmese/Thai religious text in book form. Written in ink on paper, folded and and bound so that the pages accordion and are covered with writing on both front and back. The covers of the book are embossed and lacquered with red covered with gold which has gained a lovely patina over time.
