Large cast iron teapot. Very elegant decoration of Mon and stylized flowers. Seems very old to me perhaps ealier than Edo. Datation of iron is difficult. The bottom is broken and glued with resin. It is not usable for tea anymore. Height without the handle : 17cm with the handle : 31 cm

A delicately potted and painted Vauxhall porcelain tea bowl with an outcurving lip, and depicting rockwork, trees, and an oriental pavilion. The interior with 3 dots and the bottom with a label from the Marie Evans collection.

The diameter is 2 7/8" and the height is 1 5/8". Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or paint loss. Please note that any dark lines in the photos are shadows from the display stand.

Large late Qing dynasty Guangxu period Straits lidded baluster form jar, or "general's helmet jar" (jiang jun guan), decorated in underglaze blue against a white porcelain background with four “shuangxi” symbols (indicating double-happiness and wedded bliss) surrounded by a stylized pattern of pencil style scrolling sweet pea flowers and vines (symbolizing “many children”). Like many of you, I love the colorful gem points the most. You might have noticed that I specialize in this type of point and most of my points are in the gem category. I do not know what material this point is made from. It is that unusual. I can only classify it as a chalcedony. I do not know what type this point is. It was found in Nebraska. It is expertly chipped. In fact, you cannot tell which side is side A. Both sides are equally masterfully chipped. A G-10 all the way. It is 1 5/8" long...

A carved wooden advertisement with two metal pieces to hang the board. The advertisement is for a cold medicine named, Phenyl which is the chemical name for cold medicines even still today. The advertisement states on one side that this medicine effectively reduces fevers and on the other the name of pharmaceutical store that makes the medicine, which is Yamada Kaiseido. On the top is the logo for the medicine with the words trademark...

This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base.
