A Victorian or Edwardian Ladies Remontoir (10 Ruby) Pocket Watch with finely Enameled Dial and 18 Carat Gold Case. This watch was made in France during either the late 19th or early 20th Century, circa 1875-1910.
Condition: very good - there is minor age wear to the case; the dial is in excellent undamaged condition and the movement is in very good working order.

A lovely European bronze Sun dial, carved in a fine renaissance style and dated 1635, but Victorian, English manifacture of the late 19th. century.
The sun dial very elaborate with engraved birds on either side of a Griffin center shade, with a brass spike, othervise in bronze. Inscribed with Roman numbers and dated 1635. Finely patinated in red and dark bronze and in perfect condition.

Late Victorian sterling silver olive spoons/spears such as this are the perfect accompaniment for a sophisticated bar set-up. They can be used for olives, of course, but also for cocktail onions or cherries. They can also be used as a stir in a cocktail pitcher or shaker. The spoon retains its original semi-matte gilding. The stem is marked “925/1000 Sterling.”

This pair of early 20th century Famille Verte plates are 1 inch deep and 8 ½ inches in diameter. They depict two ladies in a garden. One lady is dressed in green and is holding a fan; the other lady is in pink and is holding a round mirror. The outer rim is decorated with pink mums and a green brocade pattern. The gold edging on the plates has worn off slightly. We have four identical plates. We can sell as a pair or singly. A single plate is $175.00; a pair is $320.00...
This elegant green shell bowl with a swan on the scalloped rim, attr Salviati early 1900s, is an excellent example of the masterful craftsmanship of the Murano glass artisans. The ribbed green shell bowl and the blown foot have flecks of gold leaf; the swan is crystal with gold leaf. There is a pontil mark on the bottom of the foot. The piece stands 5" tall, 5" long, and 2 1/2" wide.

Beautiful and unusual altar table with pink marble top, late 19th early 20th century. It is made of rosewood and beautifully carved with peony and iris flowers and dragons. Set of three large graduated Japanese Arita porcelain serving bowls, each decorated in underglaze blue with a landscape scene featuring a temple set against craggy mountains and trees. A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). This pair of Chinese lotus shoes were made by a woman of limited finances. She bought what materials were needed for the vamp and supplemented with the use of rough home spun fabric scraps to cover the shaped heals and soles. The limited amount of expensive gold couching threads outlining the floral embroidery pattern on each side of the shoes indicates that this pair of lotus shoes would have used only for special occasions...
