Dish is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration. few spot glaze shrinkage at outer rim, high ping sound with finger tip.

Jizo is one of the most beloved Buddhist Boddhisatva in Japan as a guardian of children and travellers. Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture was once ringed with Jizo statues, and its granite quarries made it a center of religious statue production and sales. This Jizo holds his hands in front of his chest in prayer, or in the traditional Indian greeting of "namaste." Okutani Shuseki (1871-1936) was born in Osaka and lived in Kyoto for most of his life. His artistic lineage is among the very best. The underglaze cobalt blue, rare Phoenix decoration of this quite small porcelain bowl is executed in an nearly Imperial Quality. The cobalt blue is excellent. Ming Dynasty, Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 ) Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 10,3 cm. Condition : One chip to the inside of the unglazed footring. Further in an very nice condition. Very nice glaze, no crack with a nice " Ping " tone when tapped.

A rare and beautiful double series opaque twist wine glass. The bowl, of uncommon tulip form, sits atop a stem containing two heavy spiral threads around a central gauze. What makes this glass rare, aside from the bowl shape, is that, opposed to being conical, as is usually the case, the foot is domed, a feature very rarely found on opaque twist glasses.

This fine example is 6 1/8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 7/16", and a foot diameter of 2 5/8"...

Fine Chinese Armorial Famille Rose Tankard decorated with the Coat of Arms of Slade (or Slader) impaling Foote, below a grisaille border. See Howard, "Chinese Armorial Porcelain" L1, where he states that this was probably a Cornish family. C1750. Height 12.6cm. Condition; minute frit to handle, two small shallow chips 0.3 and 0.4 cm to edge of flared foot. 0.6cm glaze crack to surface of handle.

Guangxu marks, 1875-1908

The exterior of each bowl is decorated with nine butterflies in flight in brilliant funcai enamels. The lower portion of the bowls just above the footring is encircled by a band of lappet panels, and below the rim of each is a Greek key band all in the same enamel palette. The interiors are undecorated, and glazed with the same even, white glaze as the exteriors. The bowls rest on a raised footring...

Ming Dynasty, Chenghua Period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Perfect potted, rich decorated with a superb cobalt blue and still with an amazing glossy, excellent glaze. Diameter : 16,6 cm. Condition : This piece would be in an superb, mint condition, if there would not be this broken and re-glued area to the rim which is to see on the last enlargement.

Rare Chinese Famille Rose Teapot finely decorated with figures in a landscape on a scrolling gilt ground. Unusually both the handle and spout are painted with a delicate floral spray. Qianlong C1750/60. Height 13.7cm. Condition; 1.2cm section to rim filled and restored, frit to knop. Some wear to gilding. Otherwise excellent.

Rare Yuan dynasty Qingbai with iron spot Guannyin figure, figure decorated with iron spot in qingbai glaze, these figure is newly excavated from Trowulan east java.
Fairly good condition with damage part at the hand and lower portion, other figure is damage and re struck.
Size: Guanyin is in 15cm height, and other figure is in 8 cm height.

An impressive quite large censer with elephant - head legs and handles and brightly enamelled with the Famille Rose colours. Underglaze blue Qianlong mark but probably 19th century. H : 35,7 cm. Condition : The body + lid in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Old retouched glaze losses at two small places.

Up for auction is an antique Chinese percelain rice cooker with lid, 1880. Measurements : Approx. 5" diameter x 6-1/2" high

A rare sample of Yuan dynasty blue and white square jar, jar decorated with under glaze blue of flower motif at each side (chrysanthemum, lotus, peony, Indian lotus). at the top there is two dragon motif around the rim, unglazed base, jar has broken damage part and res truck no missing part, please see picture detail, found from excavation site in trowulan east java, very good for any one who interested into studying early Chinese porcelain.

A Yuan - Ming longquan celadon stem cup, everted rim with ribbed stem and unglazed footring, the stem is imitates a stalk of bamboo, the stem cup is covered with green glaze.

Stemcup is in good condition with crack line on the rim, please see picture for detail.

A very finely potted and finely painted blue and white vase depicting three five-clawed dragons, amongst cloud scrolls, in pursuit of flaming pearls and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but, after three years deliberation, we have come to the conclusion that this item was probably made later, circa 1880-1920, during the late Qing or early Republic periods...

This is a beautiful Japanese Cloisonne Enamel tray from Namikawa Sosuke. The tray looks perfect but it has does have a very difficult to see professional restoration to the face. This would be a great addition for a Museum or fine collection because it displays so well. This is a top flight piece for less than a third normal price. The tray measures 11 3/4 inches across and it is heavy.

The exterior of the steep rounded sides finely incised with two striding five-clawed dragons in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls, and enamelled in yellow, aubergine, black and shades of green with three different kind of large fruit branches.
