A fine quality stamp seal with carved handle and a square seal base, probalbly no earlier than 2nd. mill. BC.

The image of a demon walking is a depiction that is known in Anatolia from the late Uruk period in the late 4th. mill. and especially during the 3rd. mill. BC. We've handled a small handful of such seals over the years...

A very large bronze vessel, wonderfully engraved with panels and elephant handles, Japanese, likely made for the Chinese market, Edo period, 19th. century.

The vessel with a fine light brown patina with and places with green corrosion.

Size: 36 cm. wide and 26,5 cm. tall.

A superb quality Islamic dish, Seljuq period 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH). Ancient near East.

In wonderful green-blue glaze, the center decorated with a carved flower in the typical style of the Seljuqs.

A large and rare stamp seal made in a superbly polished beige-white stone, South Mesopotamia, Late Uruk / Jemdet Nasr period, 3300-2900 BC.

Domed hemispheric seal with a very slight gable, carving of multiple running animals in fine drill style in the base.

Condition: Good Very fine.

Massive and beautiful bronze opium weight of the 50 Tical / 1/2 Viss, with square base, c. 1750-1780.

This Viss weight is very attractive and large with a tall handle and the square base.

Weight: 807 grams = 1!2 Viss!

A lovely silver figure of a mouse running a single wheel with it's paw, Roman, 1st.-3rd. century AD.

Very nice roman style and of high grade silver.

Size: Weighing 4.44 grams and ca. 2.1 cm. long.

Condition: Choice, thick old silver patina.

A finely preserved pestle carved finger - hand-carved from fine white marble, Roman, 1st-3rd. cent AD.

The bent thumb pestle has a handle with stylized lines in the skin because of the bent position and a narrow tip with a carved nail bed. Round base, smooth from use.

A stunning and very detailed example of a well-known roman type.

A very rarely encountered horsemans spiked macehead, Eastern German, Crusader period tyoe, dating ca. 12th.-13th. century AD.

A very attractive macehead in a wonderful condition for the excarvated type. With a fair amount ov silver plating or inlays to the surface and a small piercing hole where a rivet secured it to the shaft.

Size: 60 mm. wide and 48 mm. tall.

A rare early wooden chinese figure of Xuandi / Zhenwu, with much laquer and fine colour overall, China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), c. 17th. century.

The figure is in very original worship condition, still with remnants of the beard, made of real hair and the content present in the hidden room in the back. An attractive figure of a fine style seated on a tall throne with a chinese inscription. Hidden room in the back no lid.

A beautiful larger Persian ceramic vase, late 12th or 13th century AD

Ceramic ware under an opaque cobalt blue glaze and black markings, the surface with a spiders-web of golding irridescence!

Size: c. 19 cm. tall and 19 cm. wide, a substantial piece in hand.

Condition: Good Very fine for the type, almost 100% original glaze, perhaps some minor restaration to the lip of the rim, we're not 100% certain.

A lovely old silver and torquise mounted Conch shell, Tibet, 18th.-19th. century.

Attractive and substantial Buddhist antique. Thick silver folliage mount with animals and a demon masks. Mounted with torquise stones, one missing.

Size: Approx 22 cm. long and 10,5 cm. wide, weighing a good 680-700 grams.

A lovely extra large stamp seal Bifacial figural type in black steatite or chlorite, c. 4th. millenium BC.

The seal was reportedly found at 'Amúg Ebene' in ancient North-Western Mesopotamia, present day Turkey, close to the ancient city of Antioch.

The seal is disc-shaped and carved with a fierce predator, probably a Lion, on one side and with a Deer standing by a stylized tree and pierced from above with a long spear.

A large, Museum Quality pottery figure of a male attendant carrying a leather bottle under his arm. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe.

He wears a high hat. Finely painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures.

Rare pair of China, Chrysanthemum Bowls or dishes, China, for ritual purpose, Ming Dynasty, c. 15th. century AD.

Ritual low food bowls or dishes for a rich Ming dynasty tomb, shaped in relief after the Chrysanthemum flower with a glaze of torquise and olive colours. Quite rarely seen as a large pottery model!

Size: Each dish measure around 130 mm. in diameter.

Condition: Extremely fine intact with a nice crackled glaze patina.

A cute group of small bronze Erotic sculptures of mainly couples corpulating, India from the 19th. to mid 20th. cent.

Three figures are old and probably from the 19th. century. Great details and quality casting. Another is probably vitange in a brassy metal and primitive. Finally a green patinaed woman and a small guy with a large phallus (7).

Size: Largest figural group is 9,8 cm. long, the other group are 5-7 cm. long, the small guy is 5 cm. tall and the naked woman also...

A fine larger stamp seal with a handle in cream stone, made during Hittite expansion in the Hittite style, c. 2nd. millenium BC.

The seal plate is round and depicts a pair of animals and the handle engraved with a drilled male with sword! Probably a warrior.

The shield with a fine depiction of a myth where Zeus transformns into an eagle, lifting Ganymedes. Fine high relief artwork with nice details.

Condition: Choice for the rare type, thin hairline repair at the very top, othervise completely intact with fine patina.

An unusually large and choice terracotta fertility figure of female form, Bajaur (Indus Valley), c. 3000-2500 BC.

A hollow mould-made Indus Valley red terracotta statuette modelled in a stylised manner with applied facial features of birdlike form. Also with applied arms and beasts on the cone-shaped body.

Condition: Choice for type, almost completely intact minor loss to nose, no modern repairs and with nice patina.

An attractive two-tone silex / flint axe of the unpolished type with small butt and a wide blade, Time of the Great Buriel mounts, c. later 4th. mill. BC.
