A finely carved cylinder seal in brown serpentine stone, Mesopotamia, Neo-Assyrian Empire, c. 9th.-8th. cent. BC.

The seal is carved with an interesting beast, probably winged horse or Bull beside a large rosette symbol of the Sun-God. Attractive!

Size: 22 mm. and 11 mm. thick.

Condition: Near Extremely fine.

Provenance: The Karl Müller collection, Germany 1950-1977. Comes with original imprint and COA.

An interesting scarab carved and polished in steatite stone, probably New Kingdom or earlier, 18th.-14th. cent. BC.

The somewhat stylized scarab finely carved in the base with an eye form.

Condition: Completely intact, nice Very fine with old deposits.

An extremely rare scarab seal, carved as an Udjat eye in grey-brown steatite, Egypt, New Kingdom, c. 15th.-14th. cent.

The eye is carved with great artistry, to creat a perfect Udjat eye with fine details and on the base, three strong hieroglyphs of the Ankh for giving Life the Uraeus and erect Cobra and lastly the flat Sun-disc.

The Ureaeus was the symbol of the Godess Wadjet and was used as a sign of Royal authority associated with Pharaos and gods...

Attractive steatite scarab of the New Kingdom period, inscribed with the royal name / cartouche of Thutmosis III, 1504-1450 BC

Carved in greyish steatite with fine details of the beetle.

Size: 16 mm. long.

Condition: Nice Very fine, intact with a microscopic chip to the edge, patina with web-like crackles.

A good style seal carved slightly concave in a hemaetite stone, first Babylonian dynasty, (Amorite), 1894–1595 BC.

A bearded God with scimitar, stands before Shamash, with another lesser deity behind raising her hands in supplication; A sun disc set in a crescent in the fields as a symbol of the gods of the Moon and Sun.

An unusually nice stamp seal in tranlucent agate, depicting a Ruler, between the symbols of the Sun and Moon, Sasanian, 3rd.-5th. century AD:

Accomplished portrait and scarce, the picture of the imprint does not do the seal real justice.

Condition: VF, intact with some minor chips to the edges.

A choice winged heart amulet, Egypt, probably Late Period, c. 660-332 BC.

Carved and polished amulet in a translucent stone, pierced at the top and still wearable.

Heart-shaped amulets were believed to protect the wearer's heart from both physical and spiritual harm both in life and after death. Spell 29b in the Book of the Dead states that such amulets should ideally be carved from the red-coloured stone carnelian...

An interesting and beautiful bifacial seal, New Kingdom, reign of Amenhoteb the III, 14th. century BC.

The seal carved in brown steatite. A commemorative seal with one side dedicated to father of Amenhoteb II, Thutmosis III and engraved with his cartouche and throne name. The other side engraved with the name of Amenhoteb twice.

Size: 20 x 16 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine, nice patina and light deposits in the devices.

A very large amulet of the Wedjat or Wadjet type, 'The Eye of Ra', Late period, 660-332 BC.

Nicely glazed in three differnet colors and with horisontically drilled loop.

Size: 53 mm. long and 33 mm. tall.

Condition: About Very Fine, basically intact but with minor losses and wear to the glaze.

Ex German private collection T.R. (Düsseldorf before 1983). Comes with COA.

An interesting and very rare Wedjat Eye amulet in the openwork design and inscribed on the back with the cartouche of Cartouche of Maatkare (Hatshepsut), New Kingdom, ca. 1479–1458 B.C.

These Eye of Ra amulets are very rarely inscribed with cartouches on the back. This particular amulet is also of special interest since it bears the name of greatest female ruler in the history of the Dynasties, Hatshepsut.

Interesting solid silver Encolpion cross with loop Early European, probably Lombard Kingdom, c. 7th.-8th. century.

The cross engraved with a standing nimbate figure holding a crucifix in his left hand, and on the reberse another small nimbate figure; No less than four Cross pattées, and the symbols of the Sun and the Moon on the reverse as well...

A finely detailed and attractive glazed steatite stone amulet of the Dwarf-god Bes, Egyptian Late period, 660-332 BC.

The figure depicted naked with tall headdress and a loop at the back, light glossy stone with remnants of green glaze in the devices.

Size: 25 mm.

Condition: very fine, a few small chips, attractive!

A large 62 cm. necklace with modern stringing of miltiple long faience beads in Egyptian blue (Lapis lazuli colour), torquise blue and green colours, c. 2nd. mill. BC.

A finely engraved Hyksos scarab, 17th.-16th. cent. BC.

The scarab is engraved with robe pattern in the center and with other hieroglyphs to each side, untranslated.

The seat of power of the Hyksos kings was the city of Avaris in the Nile Delta, from where they ruled over Lower Egypt and Middle Egypt up to Cusae.

Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact with remnants of torquise glaze in the devices.

A lovely large scarab, probably made in Canaanite lands of the Levante, Early New Kingdom 16th.-15th. century BC.

A beautiful carving of a large Lion attacking a rather small feeble Human with a spear. The Lion is here probably meant to represent the Pharao and the human, could be a Levantine warrior? Very well carved base and with carvings on the back as well.

Size: 22 x 15 mm.

Condition: Near Very fine, large ancient ding to the back as seen in the pictures...
