An exceptionally detailed and fine style large bronze figure of pregnant woman, Eastern Java, Majapahit Empire, c. 13th.-15th. century AD.
The figure probably representing a Hindu female deity; she is firmly pressing her right breat and holding a sacrificial bowl in her left hand. Seated with loincloth and adorned with jewelry over her othervise naked body...

The hip-length coat of mail made of riveted rings, with a short back slit and long sleeves. Three fish-shaped buckles are riveted onto the two large, integrated plates in the chest area. Two narrower plates attached at each of the sides, followed by three rows of overlapping discs on the back. The outside of the right breastplate bearing a long inscription in Hindi, the inside bears a shorter in Devangari, on the left an inscription in arabic.

A superb and near lifesize Thai head of Buddha,
Ayutthaya, Thailand. c. 15th century
The head of longish oval shape, with clearly delineated eyes and lids lowered in meditation, a smiling mouth and tiny curls covering head and ushnisha.
Sandstone was a highly coveted material during the early part of the Ayutthaya period, and the use of curved lines and petite bumps for hair reflect the influence of Indian Gupta stylization.
