Very nice set of 11 sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks in Gorham’s 1899 “Cambridge” pattern. This was one of Gorham’s most popular late Victorian patterns. The handles are encrusted in a decoration of wild roses with gadrooned edges. The backs are marked with an older Gorham hallmark and the patent date, indicating that these are early.

Very nice vintage South Jersey glass paperweight featuring a frit design of an ivy-covered blue cross against an opaque white ground. The foreground has a wave-like frit design. The opaque ground is most unusual in a South Jersey weight. The crown rises quite high into a pronounced cowlick more typical of New England weights. The bottom has a pontil mark and slight basal concavity, and there is an incised line around the periphery at the top edge of the opaque ground.

Lovely set of 12 sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks by Davis & Galt. The handles are heavily decorated with an unusual repousse paisley pattern. The workmanship is very nice. The backs are hallmarked by the maker and have the retailer’s mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

A very beautiful green funerary vase potted from earthenware. It is slightly heavy as there is earth harden on the inside of the vase, due to the long period of burial. The center part of the body appears to be molded in two parts and probably lute together by a clay liquid slip that acted like glue. Little attention was given to the finishing of the lute line, which exhibited as protruded line on the surface. There are crack lines on the body

Lovely Rococo bowls of lobed shape. A Sèvres model and Sèvres style decoration of rose heads and other flowers, and gilt sprigs. Painted and scratched mark Nid(erviller) in greyish black to both bowls, indicating a production date between 1793 and 1800. Diameter 8”/20 cm. Condition: some rubbing to the gilt decoration, a hairline to one bowl and a Y-shaped crack visible from the back (as seen on photo).

Meissen blue and white cup and saucer. Decoration in the “Blue Fluted” pattern originally designed by Meissen c 1740, later to be used by other manufacturers, esp. Danish Royal Copenhagen. The slim handle, ribbed inside, shape of the sword marks and the mark 44 altogether suggest a date between 1818 and 1860 (cf. Graesse on Meissen, 110). Height of cup "2 ½/5,8 cm and diameter of saucer "5 ¼/14 cm. Condition: fine.

A “first generation” blue and white Meissen coffee cup, c 1750. Indian flowers decoration in underglaze blue to the inside, in Kang Hsi style. The outside jade-coloured, fluted and ribbed. Height: 1 ¾”/5 cm. Sword mark, painter’s mark. On the outside a small imperfection, a “mouche”, generally considered an age sign. Condition: fine.

An Old French Faience Armorial Plate, Bearing the Arms for the Monjoye Family "an old French name dating to at least the 17th century). Plate is believed to be from the early/mid 19th century, or earlier. Dimensions; 10" in diameter. Plate has some crazing and some fretting on the rim. Mark on bottom.

Superb sterling silver powder box covered with beautiful floral repousse decoration. The design features a dense covering of daisies, chrysanthemums and roses surrounding a pair of rococo reserves framed with assymetrical scrolls. Neither of the reserves has ever been monogrammed. The decoration is really excellent and is of a quality that would rival the best of the repousse decorators. The interior retains the original gilding...

A beautifully decorated famille rose/verte hexagon shaped tazza with 5 different brightly coloured gold fish swimming in a hexagon shaped pond surrounded by water lilies, lotus and water plants. The underside of the tazza is decorated with iron red bamboo leave. The base of the tazza bears the four-character minyao reign mark of Tongzhi (1862-1874) and of the Qing Dynasty period.

A rare green glazed, delicate and beautiful Dog of Fo porcelain incense burner from the Qing dynasty, late 19th century. The Dog of Fo is a Buddhist guardian dog, always seen playing with a brocaded ball. The Dog of Fo is sitting on top of a huge brocaded ball. Standing on the left and right corner of the pedestal are two pairs of baby Dog of Fo, with tiny spikes on their backs, and seen trying to climb up the brocaded ball.

An unusual, aesthetically painted, beautiful and well designed Qing dynasty blue and white high bowl (or stem bowl). The stand of the bowl is like the bud of a lotus flower. A pretty Victorian mercury glass vase in rare peacock blue. The surface is frosted and enhanced with painted decoration of fuchsias an autumnal colors. Some areas of the background are left unfrosted for a nice contrast. Blue is a very unusual color for mercury glass pieces.

This is a brightly decorated and colourful famille rose medium size bowl. On top of the bowl, the rim is surround by a series of small blue colour enamelled ruyi head. At the bottom, it is surrounded by upright blue colour lappets in rectangular design. In between the ruyi head and the lappets, is alternating blooming lotus flower and green colour lotus seed pod surrounded by meandering and branching foliage. The porcelain of the bowl is light grey in colour and not white.

Heavy sterling silver serving spoon in Gorham’s wonderful 1888 “Versailles” pattern. This was a multi-motif pattern, meaning that each type of flatware in a service had a different handle design. This serving spoon shows a farmer in Classical dress carrying sheaves of wheat—quite a curious motif compared to the ornate scrolls and shell motifs that make us the rest of the design. The back of the handle is marked with Gorham’s older hallmark and also the mark for extra heavy weight—...

Japanese Edo Period carved wooden mini KANNON and attendants. The carved and painted KANNON, attendants (8) and hillside are beautifully done with great detail and expression. The hillside measures 9 1/2" tall, 9" wide and 7" deep. There are suppose to be 12 attendants but only 8 remain.

Outstanding brass match holder the pocket formed in the shape of a shield and punch-decorated in a stars and stripes pattern. The pocket is surmounted by a punch-decorated American eagle underneath the motto “In God We Trust”. This motto was adopted in 1863 as a subtle government reminder during the Civil War that God was on the side of the Union troops fighting to end the evil of slavery. The backplate has a punchwork border and also a hole for hanging.

A superb pair of sterling silver footed baskets by Lambert & Co., one of the most highly-esteemed Victorian silversmiths in London (mentioned by Charles Dickens in his writings). The baskets are ornately pierced and rise on ornate scrolled foot collars. The rims are decorated classically with acanthus leaves and scrolls, but a hint of Art Noveau appears in tiny irises, chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots that are scattered along the rim.
