A large copper lustre jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed with Charity as a mother with children, having pity on yet another child. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "5 ½ / 13.5 cm. Condition: a firing crack visible at the base and a glaze bubble to the Charity image to one side (cf. pics). A smaller Sunderland jug with Hope is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).

DESCRIPTION: An engaging carved wood santo figure of a winged cherub, most likely carved in the Philippines. This figure, dating from the early 1900’s, is depicted with black hair, inset glass eyes and extended wings. CONDITION: Some age appropriate losses to original paint. Antique Chinese red lacquer altar cabinet/coffer. The two front swinging doors open by two metal pulls hanging from a round lock plate, the patina slightly oxidized green. The interior holds a single shelf. Above are two drawers opened with pulls, identical to the doors below. Original condition.

Antique Japanese 2-section isho tansu (clothing chest of drawers) made of Kiri (paulownia) wood, natural front drawers and red lacquer top and sides. The lockplates of every drawer are shaped as large open fans, and the corner hardware of each drawer are fan-shaped as well. The other hardware implements are decorative with pierced motifs.

17th Century Chinese Bronze Donkey Shaped Incense Burner with Dragon Saddle

It is 8.2 inches (20.8 cm) tall by 8.6 inches (21.8 cm) in length and 4 inches (10.1 cm) wide. It is 2455 gram (5.4 Lb).

It has pitting, firing holes, small chips and missing 2 sticks at the saddle, loss of patina, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Japanese 19th century lacquered wood netsuke of a Sushi; wear to the lacquer; good patina

A small stemmed plate made of brown clay, painted with floral scrolls in enamels. Condition: a restored crack (see photo nos. 3 and 11), rim with enamel losses and a chip. Please look at the photos carefully they make part of the condition report. Dimension: diameter: 12.3, 4.8 cm high.

Men's Navajo turquoise single shank square blue turquoise ring. It has a square bezel with a sliver twisted wire attachment. ca. 1920-30, Size 7-7 1/2

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890. The plate measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter. The fine bone china is decorated with a Persian inspired design. The pale pink ground color is decorated with elaborate raised gilding. There are burgundy cut-outs outlined in beaded gilding and white enamel jewels. The design is dazzling. Condition: There is minor wear to gilding on the rim that does not affect the beauty for display.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Copelands China in the 1880s for the retailer J.E. Caldwell of Philadelphia. They measure 8 1/8 inches in diameter. The porcelain blanks are fluted and scalloped. One plate is pale blue and the other is white. They are decorated with an elaborate pattern of raised enamel beads and intricate gilding. They are an example of the splendor of porcelain in the “Gilded Age”...

Antique English Tunbridge Tea Caddy, with the lid inlaid with the "Tumbling Blocks" pattern. It is unusual to have the tumbling blocks in a variety of exotic wood samples. Made in Tunbridge Wells, circa 1860.
