This very well carved Chinese export ivory jewelry box is a mid or late 19th century product. Three dragons surrounded by lucky clouds are carved into the top of the box. Two dragons appear on the front of the box and one on the rear. There is a mirror and removable tray inside the jewelry box. The tray and bottom of the box are lined with dark blue velvet. The box has four legs. Aside from an old repair near the lock and one small age crack on the top, it is in good condition...

Late 19th century small netsuke of an Okame mask with beautifully carved and etched features, wonderful smile. Very nice wear and warm patina, spots on her forehead are inlaid with dark horn, black and red ink highlights. Rare and exquisite footed, fluted, pierced and engraved sterling Gorham bowl with gilded interior. This gorgeous bowl has it all and makes a beautiful centerpiece. It measures 10 1/2"long by 7" wide and is 3 1/4" deep. The bottom is engraved 1898, but the marks indicate it was made in 1891. Marks include a lion, anchor, G, an a lion head (indicating 1891) and Sterling. It is in excellent condition.

This 19th century ivory carving of a young woman wearing a straw hat and holding a fish is 11” high (13 1/2” high with hardwood base), 2 ¾” wide and 2” thick. This young woman is the central figure in a well-known Chinese opera called “The Fisherman’s Revenge” (Da Yu Sha Jia). The story concerns an old fisherman was threatened by a ruthless provincial governor. The governor insisted that the fisherman marry off his beautiful daughter to become the governor’s concubine...

Offered is this beautiful, hand-painted, three-vase glass set, made by Thomas Webb of Stourbridge, England, around 1900. The tall vase is 10 1/2 inches (27 cm) tall, 6 3/4 inches (17 cm) wide and 4 inches (10 cm) deep. Each of the smaller vases is 8 1/2 inches (26 cm) tall and 4 1/4 inches (10,5 cm) wide. They are in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. The tall vase is signed on its bottom with the faded Webb circular mark, 'Thos Webb & Sons' (see last picture)...

Gorgeous museum-quality Japonesque sterling silver trophy bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1884. Large and round with allover ornament in relief. Horned serpents swim slack-jawed through the water. Talons and heads “puncture” the surface to form side handles. Astride one sits an artist, brush in hand recording the thrashing undulations and roiling waves. At mouth rim are applied strewn shells...
