A BLUE AND WHITE 'IMMORTALS' BOWL GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908) The small, deep bowl is decorated on the exterior with the Eight Immortals standing on clouds from which issues vapor that separates the figures. The interior is painted with a central medallion of Shoulao seated with two other immortals beneath a pine tree. 4¼ in. (10.9 cm.) diam. Condition : Perfect.

Beautifully carved throne chair with a gorgeous deep reddish lacquer, with carvings of dragons and billowing winds into its back, dragon heads serving as the arms and front legs with painted glass eyes. The back of the chair features a large spiral leaf, smoke-like carvings along the top and sides, and a small lower panel with fleur de lys carving and a cloud border. Beautiful Tibetan painting depicting white Tara and four other bodhisatvas, originally this was a book cover for a sacred text, painted in mineral colors on canvas and mounted like a thangka. 18th century. Total size: 15 1/4" high x 30" long. Size of painting only: 6 1/2" high x 26 1/4" long.

This unusually long necklace is composed of graduated undyed pink coral beads of slightly compressed spherical form, ranging in tone from light pink to a deeper salmon color. The clasp is an egg-shaped reticulated bronze with a wedge-shaped catch that have both been gilded. Good condition overall with a soft wear and polish to the beads.

Miniature Japanese bronze figure of a monkey observing its right fist, balled up while the other hand remains with palms opened. The piece is very detailed down to the monkey's fingers and toes curled underneath itself. Edo period (1615-1867) Size: 1.25" height, 1.5" length

Here we offer another Japanese tea kettle from our collection. It is a cast iron relief tetsubin from the late Edo Period. It is signed by the unknown artist. It has a tasteful design.

Inside is some rust but no water leak. Great atmosphere. A real antique tetsubin.

Japanese fune bako, or ship safe box, made from keyaki wood with its original lacquer. The top of the box has iron hinges and a warabite handle, which opens for storing calligraphy stones. The front has three drawers, one with a large iron lock.

This is a large fine Japanese cloisonne vase from Gonda. The wireless work is beautiful. The use of the subtle yellow tones behind Mt Fuji are an exquisite touch. We have had several of the small vases like this but never one this large or this quality from Gonda. The vase stands 7 1/4 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It is mounted with silver rims and the condition is outstanding.

A wonderful Bow porcelain factory tea bowl painted in the "Jumping Boy" pattern. Although this pattern is occasionally found on Chaffers porcelain, and is not common, it appears to occur even much less frequently on Bow porcelain pieces. The potting is extremely thin and light. The painting, done in shades of dark and lighter blues, is extremely well done, and features a seated Oriental woman holding a sprig of flowers...

Antique cotton woven futon cover, dyed indigo and then dyed again with a paste resist technique with the image of the ho-oh or fenghuang, a mythological bird in Asian culture, about to touch down upon a kiri wood branch with budding flowers, representing Japan. Amazingly beautiful antique Japanese textile in a black wooden frame, with a background of ivory-colored cloth with light blue and yellow sewn birds and cloud-like designs within circular patterns. The two Japanese gods Daikoku, god of prosperity and darkness, and Ebisu, god of fishermen and luck, are shown sharing a bowl of sake...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Brownfields in 1881. The name of the company is impressed in the porcelain and there is a registry mark giving the precise date the cup and saucer was produced. The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. There are alternating panels of hand painted fruits and textured burgundy red. The fruits are painted in raised silver and gold enamels...
