This is a 19th Century, Dear Horn Antler Netsuke in the form of a Seated Monkey that is holding its young on its lap with both hands in a protective manner, with a tender look on its face. Impressive chimney himotoshi, common of Edo period netsuke, that starts in the back of the monkey and continues to a large opening on the bottom of it. Wonderful. rich patina. Unsigned.
Netsuke measures 1.02 inches (2.5cm) in diameter, and 1.47 inches (3.7cm) tall...

Five dynasties yue yao small Gourd Jar. 8,1cm high. Good conditions except small chipped at inside the mouth rim ( please see on the pict).
This Chinese doll was made with a wire body covered with fabric padding and then silk clothing. His heads, lower arms and feet are made from some kind of composition material and then painted. Because of his wire construction, his arms, legs, and body etc can be carefully repositioned. The feet are wired together to provide a more stable base...it is a theory which frankly does not always work well...
A Ming 15th century blue and white stem bowl, rounded side with flared rim and straight foot, stem bowl decorated with under glaze blue continuous flower motif at outer wall, rim with crossing border, center with scroll motif, excavated from east java.
Stem bowl is in fairly good condition, there is a T shape crack line to the rim restored, and there also some restoration at lower part, still a very nice piece for collection.

Beautiful early 20th century jade flask with fitted cap. There is an iris on both front and back of the flask carved in low relief with scrolling pattern. Small carved dragons on both sides with jade rings. Measures 10" long by 3" wide.

A cup and deep saucer in the bamboo pattern with an early printed Spode mark on the cup. The transfer design was applied over glaze by the “pluck and dust” method of transferring color followed by hand painting of the gilding. The color is referred to in the Spode literature as, “chestnut brown,” though this one has a reddish tint. Saucer 5 ½ inches diameter, cup 2 inches tall.
Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Very minor gilding wear.
