This porcelain plate was produced in France by the Boyer studio at Rue de la Paise between 1817 and 1834. There is a coat of arms with a Latin motto in the border. This is a breathtaking work of art, a cherubic figure forms the finial of this later Edo period ceramic incense burner. A large and very decorative press molded and marbled glass shell, purple and (greenish) white with. Mouth blown in the mould, with the rough pontil mark on the bottom side. English, possibly by Davidson & Co, c 1880. Height "3 1/4/ 8 cm, width 5 "¼/13,5 cm. Condition: fine.
Offering this small unusual 18th century English wine glass with a trumpet bowl on opaque color twist stem with two spiral threads, red and white, over a vertical gauze. In excellent original condition, no chips, no cracks, etc., it measures 4.25 inches high, base and rim 2" diameter. Circa 1760. More photos and information upon request.
Brooch or fibula? very thick cast copper alloy. Hot gold with mercury. The gilding is very thick. It is very well preserved and is only worn on the ends of the reliefs as can be seen in the photos. Three black stones are set. The stones are very worn by shocks or degraded by time?
Two holes are drilled on either side of the center.
The correct color is that of the first photo where we see the greenish gilding.
Interesting jewel certainly very old several centuries.

Antique Japanese single-section small Mizuya Tansu (kitchen chest). Made with Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) wood frame and Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood sides and interior. A beautiful and very unusual bell shaped Chelsea cup featuring an angular scroll handle with flattened thumb rest and loose sprays of flowers and sprigs, the interior also with a flower spray. The bottom has the red anchor mark and the number 21.
