This is a Qing Dinasty, 18th Century, with a Circular, Bulbous, tapering towards the bottom form Yellow Jade snuff bottle, with sloping shoulders, rounded short neck, and flat oval footing. This is a nice small southern Song dynasty (1127-1279) qingpai funerary grain storage house. It stands on a slightly short footrim with a recess base. The outer ring of the footrim is shaved inward. From the footrim, it slightly curved outwards to a bulb like body with a wide open mouth rim. The cover of the jar has a tradition Chinese rooftop design. The top of the roof has a ruyi like or cloud design and the four corners of the roof has a raised tile and at the end it, it curved back upward...

Early 19th century large netsuke depicting flat himono (dried fish - salmon in this case) with a rat gnawing at its head. Clever design, very good carving, eyes of the rodent are inlaid with brown horn, pleasant patina. Himotoshi (cord hole) goes through the mouth to the back of the netsuke. Length 4.7 inches (119 mm).

This is a fine cloisonne enamel vase from the Meiji Period. Though more simplistic than many of his pieces, We believe this was vase made by Hayashi. I There are plenty of image and viewer can make up their own mind. The birds are well done and each is designed with gold wires. The difficult scroll under the top rim is also similar to Hayashi's work. The vase stands 6 inches tall and condition is excellent.

An antique Japanese choba tansu (merchant's chest) made of kiri (paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including stylized gumbai handles. Two sliding kiri wood panels framed in black lacquer over two large drawers for safe keeping of inventory. Iron drawer corners feature raised seed pods suggesting this chest originated in the Yonezawa region of Japan.
