Guangxu marks, 1875-1908
The exterior of each bowl is decorated with nine butterflies in flight in brilliant funcai enamels. The lower portion of the bowls just above the footring is encircled by a band of lappet panels, and below the rim of each is a Greek key band all in the same enamel palette. The interiors are undecorated, and glazed with the same even, white glaze as the exteriors. The bowls rest on a raised footring...
Distorted half cylinder shaped (kutsugata) tea bowl made of little iron bearing, coarse, unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body, trimmed with a potters knife (hera) is covered with the typical, glossy black iron oxide inside and outside. Here it is a rarely seen dark brown due to a lack of manganese.
A window on the side has been left unglazed for decoration in iron oxide engobe under a clear ash glaze in a form of straight and wavy lines. This is a typical Momoyama design...
A Chinese White Glazed Seated Lion Joss Stick Holder. Circa, 1368-1644, Dehua Kilns, Ming Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Model of a lion seated on a tall rectangular plinth with a tubular holder and is covered in a white glaze.
Measurements: height (2.9”inches).
Condition: some soil stains on the glaze but can still probably be removed with thorough cleaning. No cracks, no chips, no restorations...

Tall Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Foreigner Figure
This fine pottery model of a foreign groom was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been cold-painted in a base coat of white pigment on top of which is black pigment in places. At the end of the arms are purpose-made holes where originally would have been fixed separate hands, probably made of wood and now long since rotted away and lost...
A triangular stamp seal with handle, Western Mesopotamia, c. 3rd. millenium BC.
Large for type and with the base engraved with a reclining animal with a branch of tree below and a bull upside down. Carved in a lovely green stone.
Size: 27 x 26 mm. 15 mm. tall.
Condition: Very fine, intact and very attractive, with fine uncleaned earthern deposits.

Okimono expertly carved from a single block of ivory depicting a hunter in the company of an Onagadori rooster. A child stands at the hunter's feet while he strokes the rooster's feathers.
This okimono features the Yukiharu 之晴 signature in relief under the base within a rectangular reserve in red lacquer.

19C Chinese Imperial Famille Rose Porcelain Snuff Bottle Xianfeng Mark and Period
The bottle is decorated with medallions of various floral, foliate and geometric designs. The base is inscribed with a four-character seal mark. Xianfeng seal mark and of the period.
It comes with a silver stopper with turquoise adornment.
Size: 6.8 cm tall, 5.3 cm wide, 3 cm thick.
Condition: Good condition considering its age.
This Menuki has two hallmarks, “服部製(Hattori The Maker)” and “純銀(Solid Silver)”.

Turquoise glazed, pottery bowl with flaring body rising from a short foot. The sides and center carved with a Lotus pattern black markings, all in high relief in the manor of the Seljuqs.
Condition: Superb. Fully iridescent patina in silver and rainbow. Completely intact and uncleaned. Exceptional in hand

Chinese White Cinnabar Lacquer Box with White Jade Inlaid Plaque, 17th Century
It is 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) tall by 5.4 inches (13.7 cm) long and 4.6 inches (11.6 cm) wide. The jade is 3.57 inches (9 cm) long by 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide. The total weight is 1.1 Lb.
It has flea bite chips and inclusions at the jade, surface wears and scratches...
