A nicely carved Chinese nephrite pendant in a "Pixiu" shape. The nephrite is of very nice quality. Bowl has been broken into several pieces and re-attach as seen at picture, a very rare sample of early over glaze enamel motif.

This rectangular grayish jade (nephrite) plaque is 1 ¾” long, 2 3/4” wide and 3/16” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It is carved as a dragon in the center, two flower blossoms and two leaves are on the four corners and a curly pattern swirls around the dragon. Though it is a thin piece, it was carved very skillfully and carefully into a two layered object. Aside from a tiny chip on one side, it is in great condition.
