We are glad to present you one of our favorite statues of our collection - very large and precious Chinese Bronze Buddha from the 18th century with rests of gilt.

The Buddha is seated on a lotus base in abhaya mudra position which means protection, peace and the dispelling of fear.

This statue has a Qianglong Seven-Charakter Mark, DA QING QIANLONG NIAN JING ZAO, (1736-1795).

This ultra-rare Spiro Mound shell carving is 2 1/4" and has two suspension holes. The shell is translucent and shows beautiful patina. The holes are correct. The figure appears to be holding a ceremonial monolithic flint mace. The figure is wearing an elaborate necklace with a cross pendant and ear spools. It also has a weeping eye motif. LeFlore County, Oklahoma. From the collection of the late Randy Jackson of Garden City, Michigan. A no-brainer for authenticity.

Antique Japanese pair of lively koma inu (temple fudog guardians), carved of keyaki (elm) wood, left hand creature has mouth open showing teeth and has a curly mane, right hand creature with toothy grin and wavey mane, wonderful detail carving, fain remnants of pigment (mouth, eyes, and whiskers), Meiji Period.
