This is a very nice Edo period cotton indigo dyed cotton kimono for children. This is yokote Kasuri.Patterns such as bangasa (umbrella), turtles,willow. There are some stains and some repair marks on the shoulder ridge. However, it is an unused / stored item. The color and scent of indigo dye remains firmly. Antique Japanese tansu chest with 4 drawers, each drawer is made of kiri (paulownia) wood that has been cut to display an unusual vertical pattern, each drawer is trimmed in persimmon wood and has a large iron lock plate with an oak leaf (kashiwa) mon, unusual shaped iron drawer pulls, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Peach blossom, red and green mottled glazed bottle vase circa mid 20th century (a conservative dating) good condition. H: 16.5cm/6.5in and D: 11cm/4.2in.

Late Qing Dynasty (1880s to 1911) Chinese ivory seal of oval section with elegantly and crisply carved Chinese characters on the base and traces of red seal paste in the grooves. The impression of the seal is shown on Enlargement 1. Mellow yellowish patina, overall in very good condition. Very nice object for scholar’s table. Height 1 9/16 inches, base 5/8 inches long.

A set of two very decorative Islamic tiles with floral motifs in fine colours, Qajar or earlier, c. 17th.-19th. cent. AD.

Unresearched but guaranteed at least from the 19th. century, probably older. With fine crackles in the glaze and a wonderful brownish patina on the backside.

A Pair of Very Fine Korean Antique Leather Shoes: The oiled and spiked leather shoes protected from rain and slippery in rainy days. They’re in very fine condition without any damages at all. Measurements: 24cm x 8.5cm

This leaf shape famille-rose brush washer is 1 ½ inches tall, 4 ¼ inches long and 3 ½ inches wide. It is dated and signed to the Tong Zhi period (1862~1874). The dish part is divided in two and hand painted with different kinds of flowers. The base is decorated with a green wave design and three orange bats. There is an old chip on the base, but over all, it is in good condition.

Ancient Egyptian artifacts from the Predynastic Period, specifically the Naqada II (Gerzean) era, which dates back to around 3600 - 3150 B.C. The artifact is a hand-carved war mace head made of reddish-brown stone, possibly Breccia. The mace head has a globular shape with a large cylindrical perforation in the center, which tapers towards one end. The base of the hole is carved with a pronounced reinforced rim, which was used to attach the head securely to a wooden handle...

An antique Japanese Gifu Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made of Hinoki (Cypress) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Warabite stye handles. 5 exterior drawers for storage and organizing with 2 sliding doors behind which store records and books were kept. Hinged door secures 2 small drawers where valuables were hidden away. Horizontal side slats provide strength and a visual design element complimenting the sliding door slats...

Chinese agate snuff bottle with a silver and coral stopper; minor chipping to the rim; good condition

Antique Japanese scroll painting of Buddha Amitābha also known simply as Amida Buddha and two Bodhisattva attendants: Sanzon Bosatsu (with both hands holding a lotus blossom) and Seishi Raigo Bosatsu (with hands in gassho adoration mudra). The central figure, Amida Nyorai stands with each foot on a lotus blossom, floating on swirling clouds as he descents. His hands are in vitarka mudra, also known as Raikō gesture of welcoming souls to Paradise (Jōdō or Sukhavati in Sanskrit)...

There are a total of eight different signs, each with a different "saying" having to do with well wishes. Each "plaque" sign has a different saying...due to the age of the calligraphy, translations have not been possible.

Each sign inlayed with MOP flakes and is 21 inches tall and roughly 4.5 inches wide. I have listed them separately, to allow for pictures of each

A Japanese woodblock print from Ukiyo fuzoku Yamato nishiki-e (Japanese colour prints in Ukiyo style). The portrait is by Kabukido Enkyo, active 1796, of the Kabuki actor Ichikawa Yaozo III as Umeomaru.

This print is from the celebrated set of reproductions of the best of ukiyo-e art published in 12 large vols. 240 woodblock-printed reproductions of famous ukiyo-e prints. 1914. The project was overseen by Hashiguchi Goyo, 1880-1921, who also provided text and cover designs...

An antique Khmer wood sculpture of Jayavarman VII /Mahā Paramasangata Pada), added to our family collection in 1930 from a private Japanese collection. It was made in mid 19th century.

Lacking any royal or divine attributes, this King Jayavarman VII statue represents a simple, spiritual man.

His facial expression is accentuated by semi-closed eyes, a slight smile, large forehead, lips that are neither thin nor thick, and long ear lobes...

A nice late Ming Dynasty 17th century Kraak type porcelain dish, decorated with a pair of Deers in the center. Good condition, with no any crack, free from any restoration, excepted small chip to the foot rim visible on the last enlargement. Diameter: 20 cm. Found at Moluccas Island Indonesia.

A very Rare example of a Han dynasty Chinese large tomb pottery figure of a horse, gray clay with traces of white and red slip pigment, tail and ears are separate pieces, wonderful example of Han Dynasty tomb sculpture with very stylized geometric shaped features, great whimsical expression with open mouth.

Comes with TL (thermal luminescence) test dating to Han Dynasty 206 B.C. -220 A.D...

A Rare and Fine Early White Porcelain Wine Bottle: Korea, early Joseon period, 15th century This small, charming and well portioned bottle applied with a clear blusih white glaze overall the surfaces including the bottom, the foot rim has some sand adhered. It’s in good condition but a small part of the rim repaired. Measurements; 11.7cm x 9cm (4.5” x 3.5”).
