A large Korean celadon jar, with incised decoration of floral sprays.
Goryeo dynasty (12th-13th century)
Of high-shouldered sinuous form, moulded with four lugs, incised on the body with four lotus sprays and with a collar of auspicious fungus heads below the short, upright rim, the whole applied with a glossy celadon glaze.
Dimensions; 32 cm tall
Condition. With good glaze condition, there is an old repair as a large section of the foot has been re-attached...

Condition: Very good for its age.
This nicely translucent Rose Springs was found in Colorado. It measures 1 5/16" X 11/16". It is made from a beautiful translucent waxy agate. It comes with a Jackson COA. A very nice point.

The flattened globular sharply tapering to a raised ring foot, and sloping to a
narrow neck with everted cup-shaped mouth decorated in inlaid with white slip
with chrysanthemum floral heads between a double circular ring,
applied with a grey celadon glaze overall.
It’s in good condition, it measures 7.8cm d. x 4cm h.
19th century Chinese rock crystal seal made out of a natural polished crystal in a shape of a tall and narrow mountain peak characteristic of Southern China. The impression of the seal is shown on the first photo (image is flipped left to right to present the image as it will actually print on paper). Very beautiful stone with few natural features by the bottom, excellent quality carving of 2 raised characters, very fine polish to the surface, traces of red seal paste in the grooves...
Small funeral mirror, of circular shape, decorated in relief with two tigers. Traces of the original gilding. Bronze, with fine age patina. China, Jin Dynasty. Diameter: 7.1 cm. Very good condition. NOTE: this mirror is part of a small collection of funeral mirrors collected many years ago that we are starting to offer presently.

Modern sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1907. Ovoid body, stepped foot, short neck, and helmet mouth; soft bracket handle with trefoil shaped tail mount. A spare full-bodied vessel. Nice heft. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 16974 (first produced in 1907), director’s letter m, and volume (4 pts). Very good condition.

Each bowl is set on a low, carved footring with a slightly recessed base. The rim gently flares and thin toward the edge. The interiors are fire-polished, and the exterior walls are hand-polished. Each is in good condition with some small bubbles visible.

A rare early Ming dynasty 15th century blue and white large bowl, rounded side with flared rim, straight foot and glazed base, bowl outer wall decorated with fine under glaze blue of human motif in different position, center also with human motif.
Bowl is in good condition with tiny chip at outer rim, no crack, no restoration.

Superb 19th century netsuke of a multi-building palace / castle complex with trees, shrines and bridges with human figures, all on a minute scale. The bottom is carved with low relief landscape with scholar’s huts, a sail boat and distant mountains. Carved with supreme confidence and perfect precision, wonderful wear and patina. Viewed from the top, one of palaces exhibits a distinct cross on its roof - the netsuke may represent a hidden Christian reference...
