An unusual divided plate with floral designs and two large bats on the underside,symbolizing fruitfulness, prosperity and happiness. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nonya ware. Nyonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: W.12.5cm. H. 3.5cm. Condition: No repairs. Normal wear.

A wonderful character cloth doll that just might be one of the earliest selfies. I can imagine a grandmother making a doll in her likeness to give to a child that is not living close by but loves her Grammy. This doll has a face created by using same color thread and string to sew on the face for knotted string eyes, applied nose and a golden floss for her mouth. Two antique bunny rabbits, one is a paper mache candy container and the other is a fury rabbit with moveable arms and legs and a wire that may have attached him to a basket or it stabilizes her to stand. They both are a little under 5" tall and show their age a bit. They are both as cute as can be.

A rare INDO-PERSIAN Mughal Khanjar Dagger with a curved and finely damascended PAMOR blade. The scabbard/sheath and handle/blade are intricately and very finely inlaid with Gold and Silver detailing designs. The wonderfully shaped handle is exquisitely hand crafted as a 3-dimensional Lion's head. The dominant dense Pamor pattern of the blade resembles irregular annual rings of a tree trunk. This dagger comes with the original scabbard which is very rare in antique daggers. Very good condition...

An uncommon, beautiful, and elegant baluster drinking glass, with a bell bowl engraved on the top half with fruiting vine decoration. The bowl has a solid base and surmounts a stem with a collar knop and a large drop knop atop a basal cushion knop.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, blooming, or restoration. This fine example is 6 3/4" in height, with a bowl diameter of 2 7/8" and a foot diameter of 3".

A portable vanity case of blackwood with all original hardware and mirror. It is in it's original condition as found. Age. Very early 19th century. Size: L. 27.5cm. W.20cm. H.10.8cm. Condition. No repairs. Mirror has some peeling of the silver backing around the edges, because of age. One handle knocker is missing and the lock has decomposed (common with these old pieces).Some old reinforcement strips on the front and inside.

A striking late 19th Century Chinese Blue & White bulbous lidded Jar. One side has centering underglaze blue shaped rockwork issuing auspicious blossoming stems. Surmounted by a conforming original lid enclosing 3 stylized spread winged bats and a bud form finial. Comes with a nice hardwood Chinese stand. Good condition overall with normal wear. Dressed in a blue calico dress this sweet little stump rag doll has a lot going for her. She has an ink drawn face, a lollipop head, and a body that flares out but stops at the hips and never had legs. If I was a mother back in the 19th C. I would have been mighty pleased with myself that I thought up the stump doll concept. It really works, and makes for a very nice doll. She is rag stuffed, has dainty little arms, and a nice blue calico striped dress...

Chinese Green Pottery Ming style garden Column with low relief design of Architectural remnant, from old homes in China, Ca. 19th century, 27 1/2" high, 7 1/2" diameter, with raised low relief design of galloping Horse, big horn Deer, Hawk and long hair Monkey on the tree branches in the deep forest and inside is hollow. The Chinese export wax seal is still intact, and one(1) stained crack about 6" long at just above brown wax seal, and shows brown stain but very tight together.
