Condition: chips and glaze-chips at two locations of the rim as shown on photos; two 1 mm and one 2 mm glaze flakes on other location of the rim. No other flaws other than these. This early 20th century Chinese porcelain water jar is 2 ½ inches tall and 2 ¼ inches wide. It has hand painted butterflies and a floral design over a white background. The color is slightly worn and it is in good condition.

Kangxi style, but probably early 1800s

This vase is painted in green, yellow, turquoise and black enamel on a pale aubergine background, depicting various dignitary figures in a garden setting. The interior is fully glazed white, having some minor pitting and small iron specks in the glaze. The base is unglazed with areas of light orange re-oxidation from the firing, and the fine white paste is visible around the perimeter. There is a spurious Zhengde mark in black enamel on the shoulder...

Ceramic or porcelain, this is a shallow bowl that might have been used for serving foods, measuring at the extreme dimensions 12 3/4" by 8 3/4" by 2" deep. The central design of flowers is hand painted, as is, I think, the gold decoration. As a paintings specialist this is not within my expertise, so I hope to be describing it correctly...

This romantic amethyst 18k necklace has a smooth and sultry snake chain that feels as good as it looks. This is a rare hand-spun natural Shina-fu ( linden)boro bag from the Meiji period (1868-1911). It was originally a stiff material, but it softened after being used many times. The repair marks are cotton fabric and hemp thread. linden cloth naturally turn dark brown over time due to the tannins in the fibers of these trees. There are stains and repair marks. Size: Length: 51cm (20") / Width: 33cm (12.9").

Chinese white jade rollicking horse animatedly carved with nostrils flaring and lying on back with hooves up in air. Size: 3 inches long 1.5" high.

Beautifully carved stone pocket miniature of a dragon in clouds. The dragon writhes in the clouds and seems to be inhaling a vapor. It measures 2.5" long, .25" thick, 1.7" wide. 18th century.

18th century hand chased Georgian silver toddy ladle embossed with festoons, birds, flowers and a shield bearing the beautifully engraved initials "EC". These ladles were used to serve toddy from a serving rummer or punch bowl and ideal for warming brandy. The twisted whalebone handle affords a better grip and has a silver end cap. In excellent condition,just needs a little polishing, it measures 13 inches long; bowl measures 2.5" diameter, 1.25" deep. Circa 1770
