His sandals are underneath the pedestal as well as a ewer. The other priest holds a flat device in his right hand and a tip of his garment in his left hand. Underneath the pedestal are his sandals. Very detailed painting. Black ink, mineral colors, gofun and gold on loosely woven silk (ca. 30 over 14 threads)...

The figure stands on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour blue and torqoise glazed robe. Under his arm he holds a bottle.
He wears a high hat. Finely painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures...

This is a late southern Song dynasty black glazed eight lobed ewer. It stands on a short recessed base exposing the buff colour earthen clay material. The glaze is generally preserved.
Overall, it is in good condition. No repair, chip or restoration. As can be seen in photograph 4, there are three spots of glaze crazing and minute pin holes at the spout area and the body near the spout...
Pre Columbian Volcanic stone foot offering effigy , small red brown stone carved as a left foot the top has a face carved with teeth . We believe this to be either Tairona due to the face or Costa Rican because they did make appendage offering pieces in stone. Wonderful tiny sculpture . Size L 3" W just under 1.5"
