Blue and white export ware plate. There are four block-printed under glaze "crowns" around the edges of the plate with a brushed "fu" character in the center for prosperity, good fortune and wealth. Size: Diameter. 26.2 cm. Condition: No repairs.

A one of a kind huge bronze lotus temple basin with a dragon wrapped around the base and coming over the top as a water fountain. The base has bronze shishi in relief. C.1880. Stands over 6 feet tall and 5 feet wide. We had the fountain installed. Comes in two pieces; the base and the basin. Excellent condition with a minor dent in the tail of the dragon. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It has first quality blue crossed swords markings under glaze. The high relief molded design is known as “New Brandenstein”. The borders have a basket weave connected to wavy lines spreading across the porcelain. Lovely sprays of colorful flowers are accompanied by cute, tiny insects. The branch-like handle and rims are trimmed with gold...

This is a greenish glazed bowl dated to the Northern Song Dynasty. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base. On the cavetto, it is divided into four sections of incised abstract cloud like drawings. It has a shade of greenish-grey glaze.

The bowl is in very good conditions with the glaze intact. There is a small chip as shown in picture 3. It has an overglaze on it. Other than that, in the center of the bowl it has a samll sand grits and bits from the incised motives...

Japanese pair of mirror image cloisonne vases with amazing details of phoenixes, dragons, birds, and other mythical animals in jeweled lappets and ruyi-heads and flower bands. Green cloisonne contains gilt-like effects. Mottled purple ground, Base has flower mark, gilt bronze end bands. Wonderful condition.

Very small double side zushi with inside the images of the Buddha Amida Nyorai and on the other side a Bodhisattva holding a covered jar. All doors painted with lotus flowers in water on a golden back ground. The zushi itself made of kiri-wood (Paulownia), which is known and used for its fire resisting qualities. Very special piece. Japan, Edo period, 18th century.

An ancient-medieval bronze bowl of the high tin content 'white bronze' type with engravings of the Gaznavids, dating to c. 10th-11th. century AD.

A massive bowl and perhaps our finest, likely a food bowl for really large parties. The interior of the bowl is almost completely covered with fine green patina and when cleaned would likely reveal fine design of incised patterns exterior with a lovely star-shaped engraving, pluse hexagons, concenthric circles and finely the attractive bulls...

A fine early 18th sake flask, Tokkuri, of European form, the shape derived from Dutch Gin bottles. It is decorated with alternating panels of the Three Friends of Winter, Shochikubai, and a rather unusual combination of a Dragon amongst clouds, and stylised Ginko. The shoulders of the bottle are decorated with stylised Lotus mon amongst karakusa, and the top with a tako-karakusa, octopus scroll, border.

An antique Japanese Cha Kobako (tea storage and serving box) made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood. Upper open shelf for serving dish storage. Lift-out door behind which tea, teapot and teacups were stored for serving guests. Bottom drawer was used to store serving accoutrements. Lucky carved Pine motif representing longevity on either side of the chest.
