Lovely 13th Century Korean Celadon Chrysanthemum and Bullocho Bowl. The chrysanthemum is a Korean symbol of plenty, as represented by its many petals. The mythical bullocho plant is an ancient symbol of longevity. 4.5 inches (11.5cm) wide by 1.5 inches (4cm) high.

A rare late Koryo dynasty Punch’ong bottle vase. Olive toned green ware glaze simply but finely decorated with off-white skip within carved pattern. Height, about 3 5/8 inches. Excellent condition and conveying with Japanese collector’s box. 14th century

A Korean, floral-form, moulded brush from the Goryeo dynasty; C12th. Delicately potted with incised decoration to give the impression of a lotus leaf. Covered over-all with a thin celadon glaze, except for the remnants of three kiln supports to the outer base. A beautiful item for the Scholar's desk. 8cm diameter. Condition; with a well executed Kintsugi repair to the rim. A couple of abrasions to the glaze on the rim.

Description:

A bronze boy was well cast in solid way.
In lying posture, the boy was half-naked revealing his hips and penis.
It was believed from the unknown custom of the Sa-Man people of north-eastern China.
Nice and warm patina was kept when sandy-feel surface was left due to long time of age.
Adhesives were preserved in the crevices.
It can be a nice brush-rest by the lying shape.

Date: 10th-12th centuries, Liao/Jing periods.

This glass bottle is in excellent condition. Come from Iran, it is probably designed to be used as a perfume sprinkler. It has a rounded body with a long, slim neck decorated with wound glass threads rising to the rim. The colour of the bottle is mostly amber; however, the lower body is more like a honey gold. A beautiful metallic iridescence can be seen under the sunlight...

A scholar object of square washer, decorated with four variant flowers to each side. These are Ruyi, Chrysanthemum, Peony and blackberry lily and the top with pair of Lizard climbing. Unglazed base. Good large Ming sancai ceramic wedding bed. These were interred in tombs of wealthy individuals to serve them in the afterlife. Nowadays they burn paper replicas instead. This piece has ornate eves in green and amber glaze, no cracks but some minor fritting. It is a large and heavy piece so free international shipping is offered via surface mail, if you would like a faster service than the buyer will pay the additional costs. Personally I have always thought these were ancestor shrines...
