Tang Dynasty painted Terracotta figure of a Court Lady , beautiful piece well molded and traces of its original paint. There is no apparent damage but one tip of hair . Collected in the 1920s by a Canadian French Railroad construction engineer. There is an old label in Chinese on the back . There is a piece of tissue in the base so the dirt doesn't come out. This very well carved and polished horn carving of a Zun (Chinese traditional libation wine vessel) is an early or mid - 20th century product. It is 5 ½” high, 6 ½” wide and 3 ½” thick (both measured from the top), the round bottom is 2” in diameter. Twelve stylized Bixie (辟邪) and different ritual bronze patterns were deeply carved into the entire body. The artist’s name is illegibly carved on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This dazzling child's dress front was made by Pashtuns and is probably dated to the 1950s or 60s. The embroidery technique on this textile features couched metallic threads forming an intricate combination of linear and circular designs, so densely arranged as to almost completely obscure the dark purple silk ground.
