Japanese Boxwood Recumbent ox netsuke, wonderful detail, especially carved fur and hooves, inlaid ebony eyes, signed by Tomokazu, good condition, Edo Period. The style
of the signature indicates c1790 Kyoto carver Kano Tomokazu when he was under the
tutilage of Tomotada, prior to returning to Gifu. Size L 2.5" x H 1" x D 1"

A pair of Cizhou vase was in the same form of floral mouth rim but with different glaze.
They were found in same origin.
They were unique in different characteristics.
The black vase was decorated on the bulge body with ribbed lines when another vase was painted with green slip on the surface.
They were both in very good condition with obvious incursions to the glaze.
One minute glaze defect was found at the lower portion of the stem foot...

A small 17th century teapot, delicately painted in underglaze cobalt blue, depicting a scholar under a pine tree .There is a poem on the reverse side. The poem reads - "The day go fishing at Shui River. the morning having dream on Qi Shan Mountain." Both are famous locations in Shaanxi province, central northern China...
This late 19th century Chinese egg spinach vase is 15 ½” high and 8 ½” on the widest part. It depicts phoenixes surrounded by peony blossoms. There is a blue honorable Qian Long mark on the bottom. Aside from an old chip on the rim, it is in great condition.
Chinese Dao Guang period (1821~1850) white porcelain bowl with blue ¡°SHOU¡± (longevity) on the outside and a plain turquoise glaze inside. The orange pattern on the rim has rubbed off slightly. It has been used as a brush washer. There is a Dao Guang seal mark on the bottom. It is 6 inches in diameter and 2 ½ inches tall. Good condition.
An iron and copper alloy black lacquered Tsuba of mokko-gata form with dragon in clouds pattern indistinctly signed. It measures 7.5cm (2.98ins) by 7cm ((2.8ins) approximately 4.78mm (0.19 inches). For condition please see images, some minor corrosion, rust in places.

Two (2) Japanese bronze candlesticks, each with a wide base in the shape of a lotus pod and a long rod connected to a lotus flower shaped holder. The bottom of one candlestick is engraved with a Japanese signature. Meiji period (1868-1912).

The mouth has been trimmed in a fashion frequently seen in black Oribe but rarely in Ki Seto (yellow Seto) bowls. The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical ash glaze inside and outside which has turned into yellow due to a slight iron oxide content in the clay...

This slightly-waisted bottle vase is of a rich lavender red tone infused with overall speckling of deep red. The red glaze drains to a buff colored ring around the lip and continues into the interior for an inch or two. The glaze stops very evenly just above the neatly trimmed footring. A four-character seal mark in underglaze colbalt blue is centered within a circle of clear glaze that is bordered with two incised concentric rings...
