Very nice Imperial yellow hand carved Chinese wine cup. The bowl is accented with carving details in the stems and lotus areas for added appeal. The shape of the bowls reflects those porcelain counterparts that were popular around the late Qing and early republic periods. Condition is excellent without any chips, cracks, hairlines, or restoration. Measures 4.5 inches high by 2.5" in diameter. Stand not included.
Pair of Japanese antique abumi (horse riding stirrups), made of iron with silver inlay all over in beautiful designs of vines and leaves, the bottom of each stirrup is decorated with a bamboo motif, the foot areas are lacquered black, each abumi is inlaid with writing: Kaga Ishikawa Prefecture, Mori Hei Saku (artist's name and "signed by") lived in Komaki. Edo Period (18th century).

Very rare and beautiful antique chinese clock with fantastic cloisonne from the 19th century. The clock is set within a domed cloisonne stand and hangs within. Floral interlacing pattern with dragons in frames. The top of the stand has interlacing dragons. The clock comes with a key so that it can be wound. The clock has a soldier with a weapon for the minute hand and a dragon for the hour hand...

Skillfully painted on the interior with a scene of a mountainous landscape with waterfalls and scholars’ residences, loosely in the manner of the late Ming/early Ching artist, Wang Jian.
The transparent glass is slightly grayish in tone and the vase’s interior has been evenly ground to create a frosted background to the painting. The artist was probably a professional snuff bottle painter.

Water pot of squat, ovoid form with a narrow foot and slight depression of a base. The even lavender-blue tone of the glass is translucent in strong light and is well-polished on the interior as well as the exterior. Such items as this were essential for the scholar's desk and are more often seen in ceramics than in Beijing glass. There are a few areas of abrasion and scratches from use and some light wear to the foot area...
Cast bronze warrior with multiple patinas, partly gilded. The samurai, wielding a naginata, fights furiously. The artist may have wanted to designate here the Japanese medieval hero, Miyamoto Musashi because the latter fought bareheaded and during the fights his hair electrified by fury stood on his head. History teaches us that he would have triumphed in 60 duels during his life as a swordsman.

This late 19th century Chinese bronze statue of a reclining water buffalo is 3 ¼” high, 6” long and 4” wide. It depicts a reclining water buffalo turning its head toward its back. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.
Pair of solid cast mixed metal buttons representing different means of Japanese locomotion from the late 19th century. They are made of silver and shakudo inlaid with gold sentoku and silver. Some small details are in solid gold (dresses, petals, barriers) others are in gilded copper. The silver faces and hands are a bit worn as shown in the pictures. Real little jewels. Very nice quality work...
