Chinese Nephrite Jade reclining Horse Toggle, white with light brown inclusions with very smooth oily patina, Ca. before 1900, 2 1/8" long, 1 1/8" high, horse is seated position looking backward, with small hole through the top to the bottom. It is difficult to capture the translucent white Jade through camera. The condition is good.

This finely detailed Chinese porcelain plate would make a fine addition to any Rose Mandarin or Rose Medallion collection. It is unusual in that the central medallion features a group of scholars. The rough and somewhat gritty bottom of the plate without any factory markings suggest a factory production circa 1850-1891. In very good antique condition, there is some wear to the enameling in one spot. See photos. Measures 9.5 inches diameter.

This rare Edo period antique Japanese round box has 3 tiers, lid and plate. There is a column of small Gosan kiri family crests down one side and another column of small family crests on the other side. The inside is of each piece is red orange lacquer. This glass jug was produced in Bohemia by Josephinenhutte around 1895.  It was probably decorated by Fritz Heckert.  The jug measures 8 1/2 inches tall.  The stretch type glass is hand blown with an applied handle.  It is hand decorated with raised enamels in Middle Eastern style.  It is a handsome example of Bohemian art glass. Condition:  The ring of gilding around the foot shows some wear.  It is otherwise in excellent condition. 

Width approximately 19.5 cm. There is a hairline at the back of the cover, not fully visible at the front. There is no leaks at the teapot. In good condition.

A rare antique Japanese Kusuri Tansu (herbal medicine pharmacist chest) made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. All original finish and hand made iron fittings. Includes swivel side carrying handles which when flipped up allowed a wood or bamboo pole to slide through allowing two attendants to carry the chest about. Sliding doors allowed access to a storage area where herbal books, customer notes and prescriptions were stored. Total of 86 drawers make up this tansu.

This glass powder jar was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. It is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. The hand blown glass is colored light blue. It is hand enameled with a lacy floral pattern on the lid. There are gilded panels on the top edge and bottom with colored enamel decoration. They are mounted with a gilded metal hinged frame.
