Small phosphatic glazed earthenware jar with double handles. Reddish brown clay covered with dull black glaze with several mottled white glaze splashes. Jun-type pottery as made in the Tang dynasty, China, 19th century or earlier.
Height 5 ¾ inches (14.9 cm).
Black glaze dull, showing water streaks, one chip on back of one of the loop handles, some dirt residue. Otherwise good condition.

Japanese Edo Period carved wooden mini KANNON and attendants. The carved and painted KANNON, attendants (8) and hillside are beautifully done with great detail and expression. The hillside measures 9 1/2" tall, 9" wide and 7" deep. There are suppose to be 12 attendants but only 8 remain.

This is a brightly decorated and colourful famille rose medium size bowl. On top of the bowl, the rim is surround by a series of small blue colour enamelled ruyi head. At the bottom, it is surrounded by upright blue colour lappets in rectangular design. A beautifully decorated famille rose/verte hexagon shaped tazza with 5 different brightly coloured gold fish swimming in a hexagon shaped pond surrounded by water lilies, lotus and water plants.
