Chocolate brown glazed rim, white body and clear glaze over cobalt blue decoration of a primitive, raised teahouse with loose thatch roof and slung entrance screen all under a large willow tree and, conspicuously, a spiderweb (perhaps to emphasize closeness to nature) in the foreground. This is a very fine, Qianlong Era (1730 - 1796) , flattened, of spade form Snuff Bottle with a round short neck, concave mouth, and flat concave oval footing. Made of a rare natural Cherry Amber, which is thought to be another form of Jet, with dark inclusions. Its sides are decorated with Foo Dog Masks with short, semi-circular handles, common on bottles made during the Early Qianlong period. The bottle is well-hollowed, with very thin walls, thus, very light in weight (0.4 ounces)...

Antique green lacquer ware chest produced from a mixture of orpiment and indigo, both of which are found in the Shan region. Age: Late 19th early 20th century. Size: L. 22.4cm. W. 14cm. H. 7.7cm. Condition: Some minor touch-ups on the lid.

A Thai cast bronze figure of the crowned Buddha Shakyamuni, with serene facial features, holding his hands in dhyana mudra. Condition: no base, later added core material. Dimension: 16.4 cm high x 9.6 cm wide x 4.1 cm deep.

A spectacular Chinese coconut wood carved crab box of the Guangxu period. Antique Japanese blackwood netsuke carving of a Hanna Noh theatre mask, with piercing gilt eyes and teeth, pointed ears and two short horns. Pair Japanese Nabeshima Porcelain Dishes with underglaze Blue Thistle with Red flowers, Ca. 1890, Meiji period, 4 5/8" diameter, 1 1/4" high, very thin crispy porcelain dishes with delicately decorated with Thistle plants, with fine exact comb high feet and double Peony floral sprays on 2 sides under the dish. One(1) dish is glued together lower area about 2 1/2" long on the wind swept Thistle decorated area. The other dish is in fine condition without any damages.
