A lovely Chinese Export porcelain Rose Mandarin footed Tea Bowl,unmarked, decorated with figural cartouches on a diaperwork ground, mid 19th century; rim chips, minor glaze crazing on base; 3 ¼” diam.
This is one of the first tea bowls in Japan, which came together with the first tea from China. It is a Chinese Jian Tenmoku Tea Bowl of the oil-spot type. These bowls were produced in large quantities for the general public as well as for the imperial court between the 10th and and the 13th century in the Fujian province.
This type with the flaring mouth is relatively rare and is shaped in James M. Plummers: Temmoku (Tokyo, 1972), p.63...
A rare Ming dynasty blue glazed big mandarin duck with cover, two headed mandarin duck shape with blue glaze and unglazed base, good condition with small chip at the rim and small touch up on the tip of the duck mouth, cover slightly different blue tone, please see picture for detail, size: 13 cm from head to tail, 10 cm wide and 10 cm height.

Here we present a tasteful kuro (black) Oribe kutsu chawan from the mid Edo period.
It has an interesting shape with fantastic black glaze and two different images on it. This bowl is unmarked, which was typical for tea bowls of this era.
We offer this tea bowl with a very good box (kiribako).
No cracks or repairs - except inborn kiln cracks...

A large, and heavy, Stick Stand, ( for holding walking sticks and umbrellas), profusely decorated, in Satsuma style, with a panapoly of historical scenes enclosed within elaborately enamelled textile (?) patterns and surmounted by a large coiled dragon amongst stylized clouds. This item was made in Japan for export to Europe or America during the late 19th or early 20th Century.
Condition: there are chips to the rim, some cracks around the base and losses to the head and claws of the dragon...

Antique snuff bottle made from beautifully hand-carved peking glass with a smokey clear-tone body, dipped into vibrant green and white glass. One side of the bottle shows a hawk perched upon a branch with blooming flowers, and the other side shows a dog pup gazing up at the bird. Has a jade topper. Signed with a cartouche, dates from early 20th century.

A small antique Japanese iron tsuba decorated with motifs of cherry blossoms blown in the wind. The tsuba is decorated in a way where on one side is a branch of the cherry blossoms and the other side is the flowers scattered on the ground. The flowers are done in a shakudo style technique.
