Antique Japanese Bizen ware ceramic sculpture of a pair of puppies. Each beautifully sculpted with charming features. Bizen ware pottery is made of the reddish brown clay with high iron content that is found in the area around the village of Imbe in Bizen province. Fine signature on base.

Eros holds a pointed amphora with a stippled ribbon/garland hanging around the vessel’s shoulder. The ends of the ribbon run down the young god’s back. The stumps on the back belong to the missing wings.

The face shows large lidded eyes under neatly curved eyebrows, a prominent nose and a small mouth with pouty lips. And a heavy chin.

An interesting and very finely made massive opium weight, Late Shan, 19th./20th. cent.

Peculia weight or figure in the general shape of a 'Kissing bird' of the Shan Burma, but with some added features in the form of fine engravings and a handle.

The figure comes from a very good old collection and is in our opinion genuine old and antique. It weighs around 700-750 grams and was likely made in the very end of the period with opium weights as a unofficial decorative piece...

A complicated lock with what looks like two keyholes and mounted on a studded iron plate, very heavy!

Coral red tea bowl and saucer, the bowl with rocky landscapes in blue, green and black in reserves, the saucer with the same decoration depicted on a paper scroll.
