19th Century Korean Hat Box made entirely of Exotic Paulownia (Odong-namu) Wood, from the collection of a French diplomat stationed in Korea in the 1950s. Paulownia is very desirable for collectors because of its beautiful wide grain, light weight, and fire and bug-resistant qualities. Very rare and heavy antique Sino-Thai solid silver mesh belt with magnificent repousse dragon and flower motif on the buckle. Made by an expert and famous local (Bangkok) Chinese silversmith by the name of "Pung Heng" dating to ca. 1850. Exquisite hand made workmanship and stamped/ hallmarked on the inside of the buckle. This type of elegant silver belt was worn by Thai nobility and wealthy ladies in the 19th Century. Practically impossible to find nowadays...

This early 20th century Chinese export cloisonné box is 4 ¾ inches long, 3 inches wide and 1 ¾ inches tall. It depicts yellow stylized lucky bats over a black background. Aside from a few small scratches due to the age, it is in great condition.

Six lovely Victorian sterling silver cocktail forks decorated in a pattern of roses and foliage. The backs are also decorated and are hallmarked with a 4-leaf clover, but I cannot identify the maker. They are also marked "Sterling Pat. '92[1892]". Very nice quality.
