A circular form rising to a shallow point at the center, this jingasa is made of hide and cloth shaped in a mold, then finally black lacquered. It is decorated in front with a gold lacquered mon of an enzo which represents eternity. Mounted on a custom iron stand.

This set of 12 crystal plates was produced in England by Webb around 1900. They are not signed but this is a known pattern Webb used. They measure 9 inches in diameter. The crystal is hand blown and quite substantial in weight. There is an indentation 1 3/4 inches from the rim to capture dressing from over flowing on the table. The entire surface of each plate is deeply hand engraved with an ornate pattern...

Description: A Tang white-glazed box was preserved with an original cover.
On top of the cover, the motif of a butterfly was decorated.
This box was rarely found when the cover's decoration was done with hand-shaped motif.

(Martavan jars were produced in China's southern region and shipped, via the port of Martabanin present day Myanmar, to various neighboring countries as storage containers for various commodities...these storage vessels became prized possessions by the local peoples.) Antique Japanese hokai, lidded container for Ka-awase shell game. This unusual square shaped hokai has a footed base and it's sides are fashioned with many horizontal ridges. With faceted corners and intricate gold and black lacquer. A flower and lattice motif with reserves of birds and young pine shoots. The interior of the box is lacquered a dark brownish black. Extensive gilt copper hardware with incised details of scrolling vines...

Patented 1878 and marked with a T dating it from 1891-1902, this server by Tiffany & Co. is done in the "Olympian" pattern. The scene depicted on the handle is "Venus born of the sea." The bottom portion is gilded on both the front and back. The intricate work continues to the face on the back of the handle and it is monogrammed at the top (please see picture # 8). It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3" at its widest. It is in excellent condition, and the overall weight is 205.3 grams.
