A wonderful Kutani saki bottle, done in the Yoshidaya style. Decorated in brown, green, yellow ochre, and blue enamels with shaped panels of landscape scenes. In excellent condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks, it measures 6.75” high x 3”. This is a revival piece done in the Meiji period circa 1890-1900.

This fascinating artifact is an ancient Canaanite bronze dagger blade, estimated to date back to the Bronze Age, specifically around 1500-1200 BC, which coincides with the time of Moses. The blade was crafted using casting and hand-forging techniques to create a double-edged tapering blade with a striking medial ridge. Antique Japanese Buddhist abbot's oxbow arm folding chair. Made of red and gilt lacquer hardwood, with seat made of leather. The backrest has gilt lacquered panels with geometric motif carvings and pierced lingzhi carving, the reverse of the backrest marked with a triple mokko-mon (family crest). The edges of the chair are decorated in metal plating incised with motifs of chrysanthemums.

A definitely lvely pot with an extraordinary rich floral decoration with birds. The glaze and the deep cobalt blue blue strongly reminds on Chinese Jingdezhen ware pieces of the Ming Dynasty. Annamese ware ( Vietnam ) 15th - 16th century . Diameter : 7,4 cm. Condition : Perfect ( the glaze a little bit eroded, some fine glaze cracks, but no cracks in the body of the piece. )

This is pure antique Edo: Wan-shaped tea bowl made of dark, iron oxide bearing, sandy Karatsu clay. The thinly thrown body is covered with the typical white, feldspatic Shino type glaze. It differs from the Mino Shino glaze by being glossier due to a higher ash content.

Under the glaze a line was applied in iron oxide resembling the skin of a whale (kawakujira). Just the foot ring and its immediate surrounding was left unglazed. The glaze has a beautiful fine crazing...

The even-toned stone is somewhat translucent and carves on both sides with a flower basket design. It is reticulated with rather simple carving and incising to produce a dense and almost abstract design. The condition is very good with no chips or breaks. There is a natural fissure occurring in the top of the basket in the center of the stone.
