Beautiful early cherry two piece corner cabinet with the top door having 12 panes of original glass (one pane has a very tiny crack at the bottom of it). It is all mortise and tenon construction, and measures 88" tall 43" wide x 27" deep. Other than the one small crack in the glass it is in perfect condition and ready to go into your home.

The Kichizaemon family of potters was established in Kyoto by Chojiro during the Momoyama period (16th century). The 10th. generation head of the family (Tan-Nyu, 1795-1854) was born the second son of the 9th generation Kichizaemon. Along with Yoyosai assisted in the establishment of a kiln for the Kishu branch of the Tokugawa family, and soon followed that up with others around the country...

While the 19th century is considered a period of decline by most scholars of Chinese ceramics, the best late Qing wares are nonetheless romantic and lively portrayals of Chinese life...

A very attractive octagonal famille rose "deer" plate. Showing two deers and a bird in a flower landscape. The center surrounded with four beautiful flower sprays. Condition: Normal condition. The plat has a hairline in the center of the plate. And the rim has one larger chip. Further no restorations. Measurement: diameter 21.5 cm = 8.5 in

A George III Brass Banded Mahogany Serving Tray with Sculptured Handles. Dimensions; 18.75" long x 3.5" high. Circa 1800. Some wear, but in very good shape overall.

Song dynasty brown glaze cup. Glazed throughout the inside and outside to about 1 inch above base. Small chip and hairline present. Height: 3.50 inches, Diameter: 3 inches.

Antique Japanese bronze ikebana vase, meant for artistic flower arranging, with unusual curling handles reminiscent of spiraling vines. Artist's signature incised in the bottom.

The saddle seat is Leather and decorated with small tuffs of wool yarn and strips of flat metal (presumed low grade silver) which are embed into the leather in an ornate geometric design.

I replaced the tie which secured the front of the seat to the metal saddle tree...the original cord was literally falling apart...Limited research indicates this saddle was from Rajastan India.

Antique Japanese iron tsuba (sword hand guard) decorated with mixed metal gold and silver inlay. One side show a scene of a small dog playing with a grass hopper amidst grasses and flowers. In the distance are mountains topped with gold. The reverse side is signed by the maker and shows a scene of a small sleeping dog curled up in the bamboo by a stream.

Original antique 19th century Japanese Woodblock Print by KUNISADA (AKA TOYOKUNI III, 1786-1864). Presented matted and framed. In good antique condition some surface soiling commensurate of age. Kunisada Utagawa was born in 1786 in Honjo, in the outskirts of Tokyo, the capital of Japan, then called Edo. His father died when he was about one year old. But he had left his son a hereditary ferry-boat license which provided a safe income...

A lovely extra large stamp seal Bifacial figural type in black steatite or chlorite, c. 4th. millenium BC.

The seal was reportedly found at 'Amúg Ebene' in ancient North-Western Mesopotamia, present day Turkey, close to the ancient city of Antioch.

The seal is disc-shaped and carved with a fierce predator, probably a Lion, on one side and with a Deer standing by a stylized tree and pierced from above with a long spear.

Size: 37 mm. wide and 7 mm...

Beautifully patterned horn chop with its horn seal box. The remenants of red ink indicate that this seal was used for official documents. The box has a slide top which closes tightly.
