Interesting and unclassified blackstone button stamp seal, carved with cross and pellets, c. 4th. millenium BC.

Probably Mesopotamian or from ancient near east, carved in quite high relief in a nice jet-black stone.

Size: 19-20 mm.

Condition: Near fine, the seal has a fine and intact imprint, with an ancient loss / damage to the upperside of the seal over the loop, which is also intact.

Á nice rectangular gable type of stone seal, engraved with a 4-legged animal, Anatolia, Pre-Hittite period, c. 3rd. mill. BC.

Size: 23 x 15 mm.

Condition: Good very fine, really nice.

Comes with the original collection Id-card and imprint.

A nice set of three larger ancient bronzes for clothing. A darkage fibula, Eastern Goths or Saxon, c. 5th-6th. century AD. A northern European clasp for a coat, Viking Period, 8th-10th cent and a later medieval beltstrap.

Sizes: c. 55-70 mm.

Condition: F-VF, missing pins.

Ex. Hafnia Coins stock, bought in Denmark in the late 1990s.

Interesting bead or perhaps a spindle weight, carved with geomethric patterns, c. 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC.

Exceptionally large bead that would have been impossible to use in a necklace. In hard burnt stoneware and it that came to us as part of an Egyptian collection. Guaranteed authentic as everything we sell.

A highly attractive massive finger ring with a high round bezel, with elaborate cross design, Byzantine, c. 10th. cent.

Interesting hexagonal shape of the ring itself.

Size: The ring is 30 mm. tall, and the ringsize is c. 19 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine for this type, of exceptionally metal, very sharp and wearable...

A large bronze seal with a loop on the back and elaborate cross designs, Bactria, 3rd. millenium BC.

A round seal with a solid cross in the center and a circle around in the openwork style. The seal belongs to the group of varied mostly circular metal stamp seals relief cast in bronze or copper alloy, classified as so-called compartmented seals (a term first used in 1943 by the British archaeologist Stuart Pigott – 1943. P. 179–180, fig. 4) Reff...

A finely preserved lead bust or head of a young aristocrate, 1st. century AD.

Interestingly the features of this bust identical to the features of the young Caligula and surely Julio-Claudian period.

Size: c. 4 cm. tall.

Nice geomethric design stamp seal, carved in black stone, Eastern most Anatolia / Western Mesopotamia, c. 6th.-5th. millenium BC.

The seal carved with a stringent grit-pattern and low pierced handle on the back, almost square.

A nice smaller stamp seal in a fine stone, engraved with a cross-linear grid-like pattern. The fine engraving of the base is a tell-tale for the late manifacture, Levantine, c. 2nd. millenium BC.

Size: 14 mm. The base in fine intact condition the high handle worned through from use.
