Interesting huge seal from the Oberländer collection. It was described as unidentified and probably ceramic, but to us it looks like Limestone, but we're not certain. Ancient Pre-colombian or Western Asian? There were no other precolumbian items in the collection.

A superb quality Islamic bowl, Islamic, 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH). Central Asia - Bamiyan.

Pearly white glaze with Sgraffito decoration (relief), pottery bowl with flaring body rising from a short foot. The sides decorated with a beautiful Sgraffito pattern of ovals and center and rim decorated with splashes of brown.

Condition: Choice. Almost perfectly intact and with fine grazing and inherent iridescence.

A lovely substantial Persian stoneware bowl, late 12th or 13th century AD

Stoneware under an opaque turquoise and cobalt glaze with floral design and markings in black. Wonderful 'grazing' of the glaze and with irriscence.

Diameter: 21,52 cm. and 10,2 cm. tall.

A finely patinated Danish Neolithic sickle, dating back to the later neolithic period, ca. 2600-2200 B.C.

A sickle of a good size, measuring c. 15,5 cm. long. Nice workmanship with an old inventory number in white ink.

The patina is a warm even brown colour! Very attractive.

Interesting set of miniature work axes and amulets , c. 3rd. mill. BC.-1st. mill. AD.

The centerpiece is a mounted Roman or Darkage axe amulet (400-800 AD), here mounted to a wonderful modern repro of an ancient axe-shaft. It also cludes a European celt in bronze and Near Eastern axe amulets in Carnelian.

Size. The shaft of the silver axe is 41 mm. tall and 21 mm. wide for the amulet.

The axe unpolished and with visible seams, typical grey-brown Danien silex of Lolland/Falster region and beautiful patina from 4000 years of buriel. Outswayed blade that looks the blade of a bronze celts.

Massive faiance figure in the shape of a fish, 19th. dynasty, 1292-1203 BC.

A museum quality sculpture of a Tilapia nilotica fish which is commonly found in the Nile River. This fish was greatly loved by the ancient Egyptians and it was used as a decorative motif on a variety of materials including stone, ceramics and glass.
