A beautiful larger silver bowl, Sassanian Empire, 300-600 AD.

The Sassanid Dynasty, was the the last native Persian Kingdom to rule Ancient Near East before the Islamic conquest.

An attractive hammered silver bowl, with an scetchy incised animal in the center of the interior and multible concenthric lines around. It looks like a simple bird, but it needs more cleaning to be certain!

Attractive steatite scarab of the New Kingdom period, inscribed with the royal name / cartouche of Thutmosis III, 1504-1450 BC

Carved in greyish steatite with fine details of the beetle.

Size: 16 mm. long.

Condition: Nice Very fine, intact with a microscopic chip to the edge, patina with web-like crackles.

Ex. G. D. collection, Berlin and Bavaria, aquired between 1930 and 1970.

Comes with COA and hard imprint!

A very elaborate and beautiful bronze oil lamp filler, very large for type, Early Islamic period of the ancient Near East, probably Seljuq Empire and c. 10th.-11th. cent. AD.

The bronze vessel shaped as a bird with large tail, beak and broad wings. Engraved on wings and tail with fine low relief carvings.

Size: 13,3 cm. long and 11,6 cm. wide.

Condition: Intact and choice with a dark brown patina and green highlights.

An important extra large bronze humped bull sculpture, Amlash circa 1000-800 B.C.

A very attractive bronze bull, standing on it's stout legs and with a oversize hump and pierced through the body. Highly unusual this detailed and in the impressive size!

Condition: Superb for type, with very nice metal and great mottled green patina.

Adorable bronze figurine from the medieval period, Islamic, Seljuq Empire, 10th.-11th. century AD.

The Lion standing on erect with stylized double-legs and incised details of the mane and head.

A classic antiquity from this period and does not come better or more charming.

Condition: Superb for type, with very nice metal and great patina.

Interesting large stamp seal of the conoid type in greenish glass, Achaemenid Empire, c. 7th.-4th. cent. BC.

The seal carved with the great King standing left with weapon and other figures, incl. a winged one.

Condition: Fine and intact, but with several internal fisures and a small chip. Comes with the original hard clay impression from below collection and ID-Card. Aquired to the Oberländer collection in 1991. Rare...

A tanged 'Luristan' bronze dagger or short sword from Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Bronze age, dating Early-mid 2nd mill BC.

The dagger very heavy fabric sharp shoulders and slight raised midsection tappering to the sharp edges.

Length: c. 32,3 cm.

Condition: Good Very fine nice patina asnd fine metal, uncleaned with deposits.

Interesting bronze stamp seal of square form with loop, Late Hittite Kingdoms, Levantine, 1st. millenium BC.

A very attractive seal with a square base, decorated sides and a fine and interesting engraving in the base.

Interesting and very rare pendant or finial of the Hittite period in Anatolia, c. mid 2nd. millenium BC.

The finial shaped with a bull head on top of another bull.

Condition: Fine, earthern green patina, somewhat flaking at the edges, but sound enough.

A fine lot of two later bronze age military weapons, Ancinet Near East 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Lance of a type used by the armies of the great Empires in the Ancient Near East of the 1st. mill. BC., fine glossy patina, tiny piece of the tip lost, 28 cm. and 2) a sturdy attractive bronze dagger with central midrip and very broad triangular blade. Excellent metal and intact. 25 cm.

A lot of three lovely points in silex and other finer hardstones from the private collection of P.F. Wulff. We're selling this very old collection in smaller lots to give everyone a chance to own a small piece of the pre-historic Americas!

The three points carved in hardstones and probably silex. They can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC, but 1 could be much earlier. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...

A superb massive gold ring of 22+ carat gold with convex gemstone of garnet, depicting a lion tearing a deer, above it a crescent, in front of it a stylized plant. Graeco-persian, 2nd half of the 6th century BC.

Stunning quality engraving and a heavy gold ring, suitable for wearing today.

An interesting a rare cylinder seal in bronze, Eastern Mesopotamia / Greater Persia, c. 2nd. mill...

A fine solid bronze figure of a Rooster / Cockerel, ca. 10th.-12th. century AD.

A beautiful figure, sculptured in the round in a naturalistic manor, very attractive and scarce.

The Rooster has finely engraved feathers on the body and tail. A hole at the top for the loose mohawk which is now missing.

Size: 8 cm. long and 7,8 cm. high. Dark green patina with redish highlights.

Condition: Very nice, some corrosion to the tail and feet but othervise so...

A finely detailed faiance figure, depicting Patake in Green-Torquise faiance, Late period Egypt, 525 - 341 BC.

Interesting scarce representation of the god naked.

Condition: Choice, intact with some overall wear to the glaze.
