Lovely small three legged cooking vessel from the Han Dynasty. The legs are in the shape of small bears and the handles on the lid seem to resemble wing tips. There is a lot of restoration on this piece in the cooking basin, one the legs has been reattached, so please view the enlargements carefully. There is some warpage to the lid as well, but it is the original one. D: 12.4cm/4.9in and H: 10.4cm/4.4in

Late 19th century, large, Shan/Tai Yai Buddha. There is a crack on the shoulder and arm, a couple of chips on the base and minor loss to lacquer- but over all this has an ethereal expression, unique to Shan images. Han Dynasty lead green glazed “out house toilet”. I imagine even in the afterlife you’ll still need one of these. This was part of a larger barnyard ensemble which would have consisted of a walled compound with a pig or two. In excellent condition, no damage other than where it was broken off the compound wall which you can’t see since it’s on the bottom anyway...

Exceptionally rare small storage jar with typical Burmese style floral scrolls under a green tin based glaze. Probably originally from the Mon, Pegu (Bago) kiln. Very rare pair of Shang/Western Zhou (2070-771 BCE) proto celadon saucers from a Zhejiang Kiln. These are the earliest Chinese known glazed ceramics and were the forerunner to the Yue and Longquan.
