A rare Chinese stationery box made of huanghuali wood,with an accessory tray made of other kind of wood, and two small ink stone inside the box. There are two layers on the bottom of the box: one is made of soft wood, the other is huanghuali wood loosely laid on inside the box. The box is dated to Qing Dynasty. Condition: minor restorations. Japanese antique bronze censor, decorated all over with archaic motifs and scrolling vines, stands on three legs with heads of horned mythical creatures, the base is covered with rolling waves, handles in the form of fu-dogs, lid is covered with clouds and topped with a fu-dog, rectangular cartouche on bottom, illegible. Taisho Period. Size: 24 1/2" high x 15 1/2" wide.

A rare Japanese okimono depicting the seated bodhisattva of compassion with serene facial expression. Made of bright bronze alloy, maybe shibuichi, and fine inlays in silver, gold and enamel. The base with signature. Condition: no damage, few traces of wear. Dimension: 11.1 cm high, weight: 572 g.

This wooden netsuke, depicting a samurai's war helmut (Jingasa), is made from a dark heavy wood and has an aged patina. The piece is in excellent condition with only a couple of age lines present.

This antler horn nestuke, carved from the antler base, represents a clam shell resting on a decorated circular base. The underside has been carved to show a temple scene located near the sea. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.

A sublime square japanese export table decorated with scrolling clouds, flora, and rising dragons. The intricate and detailed carvings were popular during the Meiji period when most of Japan's fine arts and crafts were being exported to the West. A fine antique Chinese child's collar with stitch work and fine knitting on the edge. The shawl collar is decorated with auspicious motifs of bats, butterflies, geese, and flowers. The collar is often seen in Chinese fashion during the Qing Dynasty where women wore the collars during formal or auspicious occasions. Age: Qing-Republic Period Size: length 18.5" height 16"

A Middle Ming dynasty b/w bowl, decorated at interior center with lotus and crane within a circle, the cavetto sides and exterior is plain. Condition is very good except a short firing crack but not crossing to inside, free from any restoration. Diameter: 14.5cm.

A fine and interesting bronze sculpture of a lady selling fish. The figure is holding a basket of fish with a humorous looking octopus wanting to jump out of the basket. Often during the Meiji period, figures from daily life such as sellers of various produce and products were created for the Euro-American market where the charm and simplicity appealed to collectors. The base contains a cartouche seal of the artist, Seikoku. Age: Late Meiji- Taisho Period Size: length 9" width 8" height 19.5"

Antique chinese silk had mede for a child. The hat is beautifully embroidered with peonies and chrysanthemums. There are tassles, light pink, on either side. The top of the hat has a bird with a tassle in its beak, a smaller bird sits below. Republic period.

Antique Chinese ladies shoes made of silk and embroidered with flowers and butterflies. These shoes were worn during the 19th century by someone who would have had their feet bound in the lily style. Qing Dynasty. 19th century.

It is woven with common hemp thread, indigo-silk thread dyed beautifully and a double cotton thread dyed black. It is a very rare textile made in Iwate. The dye of the silk thread is bright blue. However, you can feel that you leave it a little in green. It is Noragi thick beautifully made in the Showa era from the Taisho era. Size 94cm x 116cm (37 "x 45.6")

Chinese famille rose enameled porcelain plate, decorated with peony and floral design, six characters Chinese seal mark, late 19th century period. Size, diameter of the plate is 7 1/8 inches, in good condition with a couple of minor flea bites, hardly visible, to the rim.
