A fine and very uncommon opalescent stem double series opaque twist (DSOT) Georgian wine glass. The round funnel bowl is engraved with leaves and a budding rose on one side, and a shrub on the other. The stem has a pair of 11 ply spiral bands outside of a central corkscrew. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil.

There are no condition issues or flaws in this glass...

The dark grey paste makes this dish to a very rare example of an Longquan Guan-type dish. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ). The shallow dish with sloping sides, everted rim, and fourteen-lobed mouth rim is covered in a crackle-suffused glaze of sea-green color that thins on the edges. The dark grey stoneware body has turned to a reddish brown color where exposed in the firing. Diameter: 16,2 cm. Condition: Perfect.
