A massive and superbly preserved bronze mace head decorated with faceted knobs around the swollen head and flanked by grooved bands on a tubular shaft, later bronzeage, ca. 1200-800 BC.

Size: Unusually large for type - 14,5 cm. tall and 7,5-8 cm. wide! Weight: 660 grams.

Condition: Intact and very attractine with a wonderful red and green patina.

Ex. Danish Collection of ancient weapons, bought at the Danish Antiquities market in the 1980-90s.

A fine bronze seal ring, Sasanian, c. 3rd.-6th. cent. AD.

With wide shoulders and oval seal bezel, engraved seal depicting a horse with symbols(?) above.

A better ring and fully wearable.

A superb massive gold ring of 22+ carat gold with convex gemstone of garnet, depicting a lion tearing a deer, above it a crescent, in front of it a stylized plant. Graeco-persian, 2nd half of the 6th century BC.

Stunning quality engraving and a heavy gold ring, suitable for wearing today.

Interesting scale weight in black basalt stone, shaped as a cone, Egypt, c. 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

Intact and choice piece, quite attractive. The base inscribed with a very old collection number in white ink.

Size: c. 37-38 mm. tall and weighing 36,28 grams, which depending on the weightstandard would have been like 3 Deben in antiquities.

A wonderful matching set of three Mace Heads of the rare claw-shaped type, Bactria, 2nd. millenium BC.

Bactrian bronze egg-shaped mace-heads with spiked sleeves or prongs, Late 2nd Millennium BC. The top of the weapons with narrow edge, the sleeves with small internal tangs for mounting them to a shaft.

A high quality specimen of broadbladed silex axes, imitating the celts of the early European bronzeage, made in South East Denmark, during Late Neolithic to early bronzeage periods, ca. 1800-1600 BC.

The axe is partly polished and with visible seams, in a wonderful completely calsified silex stone, so with a fine white patina and iron-oxide markings. Tagged 92 with old collection tags, and with the finding place and date 1885 in pencil - a very early provenance for these...

Attractive mouldmade figure of a lady with raised arms and likely dancing; She has an alaborate hairstyle and is wearing a finely draped gown.

A highly unusual bronze seal with a 14,3 cm. projecting handle, Bactria, Hindu-Kush area, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

A very rare design of the handle which suggests that it could have been for heating and perhaps marking lifestock?, interesting and with a beautifuly carved star design of the base. First time in stock ever.

Very attractive the a beast on top of a large spiral; in bronze alloy with some silver content.

A choice example of a of a large Wadj Sceptre in brown hardstone, with the stone aiming to imitate rolled papyrus.

The scroll is widest at the top, where there is a neck below the faux loop for suspension. The base tapers into a softened point. Such an amulet would have been for ritual buriel.

Condition: good very fine and intact.

A choice winged heart amulet, Egypt, probably Late Period, c. 660-332 BC.

Carved and polished amulet in a translucent stone, pierced at the top and still wearable.

Heart-shaped amulets were believed to protect the wearer's heart from both physical and spiritual harm both in life and after death. Spell 29b in the Book of the Dead states that such amulets should ideally be carved from the red-coloured stone carnelian...

1) A choice and beautiful dagger, c. 26 cm, long with high shoulders and a prominent central midrib, 2nd. mill. BC. On this dagger you can see where the handle of bone or wood once was - very interesting!

A lovely greek pottery head of a female godess, likely Aphrodites, with intact neck and all detals preserved, Hellenistic period, 3rd.-2nd. century BC.

These heads was likely ritually broken in some cases and are not rare on the market, but this head are of much better quality and style than most heads for sale.
