Cast bronze vase decorated with three handles in the form of masks of mythological creatures, carrying a trunk and large ears probably inspired by an elephant. The cast work is beautiful and the finish is neat. On the lower and upper edges, two very elegant Greek friezes are discreetly and finely incised in silver. The edge of the vase is slightly split, but you can still put water in it. A nice original patina confirms the age of the object, probably 19th century or earlier...

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, or KPM, in 1911. The impressed date letter indicates this year. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter. It has a 1 1/2 inch border of the most delicate reticulated work. It has the appearance of the finest lace. The pattern of lattice work and flowers is outlined in gold. Offered is this beautiful, iridescent, pulled-feather bowl/vase on ornate metallic stand. Superb iridescence. Overall, it is 13 inches high and 11 1/2 inches wide; the bowl itself is 9 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. It is in excellent condition. Polished pontil (there is a slight 'pull' on the pontil - see picture). Unsigned - probably was made by either Loetz / Rindskopf in Bohemia.

A carved wood figure of a wandering priest, robes billowing in the wind, his large straw hat full of holes, signed Yasuchika on the back. Dating from the late Edo to Meiji period, it is by a member of the Tsuchiya Yasuchika lineage. The figure is 31 cm (12 inches) tall and in excellent condition, complete with walking stick.
