1930's Chinese Heavy Gilt Silver Enamel Bracelet with Dragon & Calligraphy

It is 7 inches (17.8 cm) in inner circumference by 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) inner diameter and 0.7 inch (1.8 cm) wide. It is 62.2 gram.

It is tarnished and has rubbing of gilt, minor loss of enamel, enamel stress cracks at the inside, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

An antique Japanese Kotansu chest for personal storage use made entirely of Kirinoki (Paulownia). All bronze hardware with 6 drawers and a pair of sliding doors hiding a storage area with a split level shelf. Constructed using straight dovetail joinery with hardened wooden nails. Perfect as a side chest or desktop organizer.

Age: Late Meiji-Taisho Period (1910-1920)

Antique Japanese gyosho bako, or merchant's chest, in a tall and slender style with many drawers. It is made of kiri (paulownia) wood with a dark brown lacquer. The drawers bear an emblem faded from age, perhaps once used to label the contents inside. The very bottom drawer has an iron locking plate. Edo age (1615-1867). Exhibited in Palo Alto Cultural Center. Size: 36" height, 11" width, 14" depth

Antique Japanese kyodai (box with drawers and mirror). Made with burled mulberry wood with intricate grain. The interior is all kiri (paulownia) wood with a wiped lacquer finish inside the drawers. The box has 5 drawers of various sizes for storing personal items. The spandrel under the mirror is carved with a bird flying in front of a full moon and tall grasses. Original beveled glass mirror which swivels up and down...

Maginficent, antique basket from the Naxi/Nakhi ethnic group in Yunnan province. I purchased this in 2001 at local market in Lijiang (now a UNESCO heritage site). Constructed of bamboo with much of lacquer intact, this piece is circa 50 to 80 years old, most interesting is an auspicious coin symbol woven into the top. This kind of thing always reminds of the labor intensiveness that is put in to decorating such a humble object...

Old growth Keyaki used for the entire construction. Very heavy and solid in weight. Chinese Blackwood and Natural gray Mottled Marble top round Stool/table, later part of 1800's, 17 1/2" high, 13 1/2" diameter on top, with carved low relief floral branches on the apron, with X cross stretchers underneath the marble top to strengthen the curved legs, also stretchers are connected to the legs in lower area, no nails were used, some separation between the joint in the wood, this stool is heavy and solid.
