Rare early 20 century Kutani ware Shunga Sake cup with old box
Kutani Ware has been produced near Kaga mountain in Ishikawa prefecture of Japan from as early as 17 century.
Kutani porcelain can be characterized by rich overglaze enamels and beautiful hand-painted motifs.

A Rare Spirit Stone (Ishikami), Natural Rootwood Embracing Stone.
A unique creation of Mother Nature with minor modification to the root wood grown around a stone to emulate a standing Daruma, the Patriarch of Zen Buddhism wrapped in his robe. These kind of quite rare “spirit stones”are always been highly appreciated by the Japanese. Very good, old patina; it has a very pleasant feeling to the touch. Edo, 18-19th century. H 10,5 cm. Condition: Perfect.
An extraordinary Yuhuchunping with very nicely drawing of the blue Dragon and clouds among design of underglazed red waves to entire body. The mouth rim with three bamboo leaf. Unglazed base. Possibly late Yuan transitional to early Ming period. Height: 28 cm.

This plaque must have been part of a scholar's screen. It is carved in a Duan stone of 2 layers of different colors. An ochre layer and a brown layer. The brown layer is carved in depth until the ochre layer appears. The decoration is thus cut in brown on an ochre background.Qing period 19° century or earlier. On the reverse side we can see the traces of the tool which should give indications for a more precise dating.

19th Century Chinese White Jade Carved Peacock Feather Holder & Jadeite Beads Necklace
It is 25.8 inches (65.5 cm) in circumference by 11.8 inches (30 cm) in length. The feather holder is 2.73 inches (6.94 cm) long 0.7 inch (1.8 cm) wide. The jadeite beads range from 7.4 mm to 9.4 mm wide. The total weight is 116.3 gram.

A nice one of Junyao tripod-censer standing on the three short foots, well balance potted with fairly thick body. covered overall with bluish glazed, molded incised flower heads aside with one is splashes of purple reddish tone. The condition is perfect with no any chips, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Possibly Yuan to early Ming period. 14th-15th century.

A finely carved boxwood image of a standing Luohan (Arhat), one of Buddha’s disciples. The figure is shown turned slight to one side while holding a wish-fulfilling scepter (ruyi) in the crook of his right arm. The carving is coated in a deep, transparent reddish lacquer. Qing, 18th cent. H 18.5 cm. With fitted, old Japanese storage box. Condition: Excellent with only one minor age crack caused by the drying wood.
