This is a beautiful pair of mixed metal decorated bronze vases. They are highly detailed and stand just 5 inches. Both vases are signed Miyabe Atsuyoshi. One vase has a lightly bent rim otherwise the condition of the pair is excellent.

A late Qing biscuit fired susancai / famille verte square baluster vase, decorated with panels of seasonal flora. Wood stand included.

Condition: Bottom cleanly drilled, otherwise perfect antique condition [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]

An antique pair of Japanese bronze garden temple lanterns with reticulated sides. Hinged door on each lantern allows access to the interior. Four feet allows placement on a stand or pedestal while a top loop allows each lantern to be hung.

This is a small but very beautiful little vase from the Meiji Era. It is highly detailed and except for the leaves and branches, it was done in the basse-taille styl. The glowing cobalt color is even more intense in person. best in the last image. This vase stands just 2 1/2 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches wide. It has silver rims and is signed on the bottom Kawaguchi Bunzaeoman.

This is a really fine piece of Japanese Golden Age cloisonne with a very pleasing form. This phoenix design and form are unique. We have only seen one other like this and it was the mate to this one that recently sold. Condition is excellent except for a superbly filled surface chip. The before and after images can be seen in the last images. The vase is large standing 12 inches tall.

This is an amazing small cloisonne vase. It is only 5 inches tall but has as much fine work as a great 12 inch vase. The rims are silver. It is not signed but the enamel colors and wire designs in the flowers appear to be the work Hayashi. Condition is excellent.

Elaborate, Antique, Chinese bird cage constructed with various beautiful woods-thin reeds, boxwood and huilli. The bird cage has a doomed top with carved flowers and a brass hook for hanging. The exterior has carved wood images of dragons and 3 bone carvings structures on the front. The interior has 2 ornate porcelain hand painted bird feeders from the 19th and 20th century. An antique Chinese long table carved with motif of scrolling clouds and a type of fungus knowns as Lingzhi, an auspicious motif and an actual fungus used in Chinese medicine. The table overall has an appearance possibly done in the taste of a literati scholar. Age: 20th century Size: length 65.5" width 26.5" height 36"

The deep "U"-shaped body painted to the exterior with plump feathery tailed godfish swimming amongst wafes in sgraffiato technique. Underglaze blue Qianlong Mark, Republican Period. Imperial Quality. Diameter : 8,1 cm. H : 7,4 cm. Condition : One cup in perfect condition. The other cup with one extremely fine hairline crack to the rim which is not visible with the naked eye.

Tea leaf storage jars used in Japan like this were produced in and out of Japan from about the 15th century onwards. I wish I could say that this is one of the famous Muromachi Era "nanban" wares from the Phillipines or Southern China that are so prized by Japanese tea ware collectors, but it is one of the replica items made up through the Meiji Era in Seto, Japan. Still, the Japanese kept the traditional shape and produced many fine chatsubo in their own right...
